Copper Dragon

The Copper Dragon

The Copper Dragon, For my Love for the Dragon! I hope you all will Enjoy
this most Interesting Dragon as all the dragons that I’ve Posted.

History of the Copper Dragon-

I found that these dragons have some different aspects than their cousins do. For example; The Copper Dragons are huge six legged Beasts. They usually live in very warm desert climates or in caverns, that are usually very elaborate underneath the desert ground. The Copper dragons are very intelligent creatures, who enjoy testing other creatures on their own intelligence with either riddles or jokes, but their favorite is Riddles. You must be very careful if you ever run across a Copper Dragon and he wants to play a game of Riddles, be warned-
The Copper Dragon Always Wins! The Game of Riddles! Then you can only guess what happen next! Even though they are known to be good natured dragons, they will guard their wealth very closely. Which is usually in huge caverns under the great hot deserts of the world. You probably would never guess this one for a dragon, but the Copper dragons are great jumpers and climber. Their diet is a little different too. They will eat almost anything, but their favorite food source is giant scorpions. So it makes you think how big those scorpions got in ancient times? And what do you think these Grand Dragons eat Now!

Physical-

These dragons are quite striking with their warm coppery scales and a tinge of blue within each of the copper scales as the become
adult dragons. Like the Brass Dragon, the Copper Dragon’s winds are connected to its body all the way to the tip of its tail. As I have mentioned before in my brief history of the Copper Dragon, these creatures are powerful jumpers and climbers with their powerful massive thigh and shoulder muscles in all their limbs.
Their two horns are broad and flat that sits on their head, which are pointing backwards to the tail from the top of their heads. They also have a distinctive frill that protrudes from either jaw. So when their mouth is closed, their very sharp teeth are completely hidden, but will exude a stony Oder, which is very strong and nasty.

These Dragons prefer to avoid combat if possible, but if they have to they would rather fight opening or taunt, humiliate and tease
their opponents until they simply give up the battle at hand. This is how the Copper Dragon has gotten his name as being a huge tease or a joker at times. Even in Battle. Although if a Copper Dragon is forced in Battle , he/she will fight  to the very End! And it is very incredibly devious and antagonist too when it comes to battles and winning too. This is when These dragons will use their Breath weapon usually.

Breath Weapons-

The Copper dragon has two types of breath weapons that he can use in battle.

The First is the Acid Breath which will blind and then dissolved its attacker or prey.

The Second is the is a Cone Sleeping Gas, It is used to knock out his/her attackers or prey. [The Cone Sleeping gas can slowly cramp up all the muscles of anyone within the Cone Sleeping Gas, once that happens, he/she is helpless both in sleep and movement].

Lair-

The lair of the Copper dragon is that of a cave, but its entrance is concealed
by many enormous rocks and boulders. Basically, you will find yourself in a huge labyrinth of tunnels. The Copper Dragons are among the most of all their cousins that can complete his most confusing caverns with such complex labyrinths within them. If a friendly visitor which was usually human or a lost Elf, became hopelessly loss in one of these confusing labyrinths caverns [which in ancient times it was rather common] the copper dragon would actually rescue these friendly visitors.

It was if a visitor found himself deeper inside the tunnels where the dragons
treasure or young dragons were where the danger lay. This is when the Dragon isn’t so friendly you could say. How if the visitor finds themselves in a enormous spacious foyer, beyond which is the main entertaining Chamber, which is where the dragon spend most of its time! There is doom for anyone that gets that far into the Coppery Dragons lair, unless he happens to be in a forgiving mood that day. They are said to be good natured Dragons, and considered to be very polite too. So one never will really know what happens in his Chambers with lost souls so long ago.
As for now in the preside times, I really don’t think the Coppey dragons would be as good natured and as polite toward the human race, and this is my own option. I feel this way because of what has happen in the last 30years on our Great Blue Planet/ Mother Earth. Its not so much Blue Mother Earth, as it was 30years ago. Also the problems of War/hatred and lack of concern for  our Mother Earth I feel has a great deal to do with the Fae Creatues of the magic world too. The Dragons, where they might be now!, one really never knows, that includes My fairies and Elves too. I do know that they are still here but in a different form as for the fairies and maybe the /Elves this I do not know for sure. As for the dragons I believe they are in deep deep hiding. And really, don’t come out, only in the darkest of nights. I believe it has a lot to do with us over population of our Earth. I just had to put my option sometimes my dear friends and followers I hope you will understand. Love you all-ooo)

Parenting-

The Copper dragons take part both in their young raising. Both mother and
father are very much part of their baby eggs and to the time it is for the young dragon to go on their own. These Copper Dragons will stay together until that time comes, from the eggs are laid in the sand, to when they hatch. Then during the process of hatching , both of the parents will take turns watching over their eggs until they hatch. When the newly hatched eggs do hatch the call their baby dragons wyrmling until they get to be juvenile dragons. Their scales will have a muddy brown in colour of
which will gradually shift to a glowing copper with the hints of the beautiful deep blue just like their parents. Young copper dragons or juvenile dragons will start with a rusty brown color on their scales before their scales turn the beautiful coppery color. All the coppery Dragons have the most Beautiful turquoise Blue Eyes.

I hope you like the Copper Dragon . I found this to be most interesting and a beautiful dragon. For my Love for the Dragon!

I Truly do Enjoy Writing about Dragons! It is fun and I wish in someways I could go back in time to be with the dragons that I love so much! I know in my heart they are still around, but they are in hiding for good reason!

Anyway Here is another Beautiful dragon! For My Love for the Dragon! Love you all, my dears Friends and Followers!

The Story of the Koi Dragon

The Story of the Koi Dragon
The legend says that  a certain Koi had the strength, courage, and
perseverance to climb a certain waterfall. When the Koi reached the top of the waterfall exhausted, yet having reached its goal, the Koi was then transformed into a dragon. The Koi dragon is one of the Mythical Characters in the Japanese culture which is not actually a dragon. It is a Japanese fish [Koi fish], which has the power to turn into a dragon. The Koi dragon started to swim off as a fish up a river and then when it reached a certain waterfall it tries to cross it. If it is able to cross the waterfall, then it will transform itself into a dragon and thus it is known as the Koi dragon.

This legend of the Koi Dragon is most readily
found in Japan, there are many different versions of the legend of the Dragon Koi. The one I just told you above have been just one of many. Of course, there is the one of the Koi dragon who decided to swim upstream to obtain enlightenment. This legend Goes-As a Koi travels on its journey, moving against the heavy current of water, it encountered many seemingly insurmountable obstacles. During its journey, in the heavy current of water, it became stronger and confident,
despite the unrelenting of the pulling of the downstream of the river. The Koi continued to struggle onward and upward to the mighty Waterfall. Once he crests at the top he is transformed into a flying dragon, free from the bondage of the relentless river. This is of course one other version of the Japanese folklore of the Koi Dragon!
There is also a story in Japanese legend called the Legend of the Rainbow River; This story is very similar to the other stories above,Yet a little different in parts. The legend goes That every thousand years the courage & strength of a choose Koi, makes a perilous and difficult journey up the Rainbow River.
They say in the Japanese folklore that out of perhaps a million Koi, only one who is dedicated, strong, and confident to be able to swim against the very strong current of the Rainbow river, towards what was known as “The Dragon Gate” will leap from the water once it has made its way up the waterfall and then will be transformed into a dragon.
I hope that you all like my new Dragon! For my Many Posts! I have done in
My Love For The Dragon! This one is the Koi Dragon!
I am hoping at some point to have images for yOu All my Dear Friends and Followers! It just might take a bit. I hope until the time you will Enjoy my stories! Love you all! Your Wendy -oooo)

Augus Og, on of the Dgda was the Irish God of Love. His palace was supposed to be at New Grange, on the Boyne. Four bright birds that ever hovered about his head were supposed to be his kisses taking shape in this lovely forms.
At their singing love came springing up in the hearts of youth and maidens. Once Angus fell sick in love for the maiden whom he had seen in his dreams.
He told the cause of his sickness to his mother Boanna, who searched all of Ireland for the girl, for her son, but never did find her. Then the Dagda was called to his aid Bov the Red, King of the Dannaans of Munster. The same whom we have met with in the tale of the Children of lir, and who was killed in all mysterious and enchantments. So Bov the Red undertook the search. And after a year had gone by he declared that he had found the beautiful maiden that was in Angus Og dream. He had found the maiden at a lake called the Lake of the Dragons Mouth.
Angus then goes to Bov the Red, after being entertained by him for three days by the lakes shore where he sees three fifty maidens walking in couples, each couple linked by a chain of gold, but one of them happened to be taller that the rest by a head and shoulder.
Augus shouted "That is she!
Augus Asks? "Tells us by what name she is know!'
Bov the Red anwsers Angus by saying that her name is Caer, daughter of Ethal Anubal, a princess of the Danaans of Connacht.
Augus laments that he is not strong enough to carry her off from her companions in the chains of gold, but on Bov the Red, advice be takes himself to Aileil and Maev, the mortal King and Queen of Connacht, for assistance.
The Dagda and Angus both repair the palace of Ailell, who then feasted for a week then asked the cause of their coming to the palace. When it is declared, "We have no Authority over Ethal Anubal" They send a message to him.
However he asked the hand of Caer daughter of Ethal Anubal for Angus, but then again Ethal Anubal refused to give her-up.
So in the in of theis Tale-
Angus Og is besieged by the combined forces of Ailell and the Bagda and taken in as prisoner
But it doen't end There my dears-
Caer, daughter of Ethal Anubal again demands and declares that for she is more power than I. Caer then explains that she lives alternatiely in the form of a maiden and of a swan yearly and year about. On the first of November next, you will see here with a hunderd and fifty other swans at the Lake of the Dragon Mouth.
Well the story tale get better-
Angus shouts out, who calls out to her?
Oh come and speak to me!
Angus explains who he is, and then finds himself transformed into a swan. This is an indication of consent and he plunges into join his love in the lake.
After that they fly together to the palace on the Boyne, unttering as they go a music so divine that all heavens are lulled to sleep for three days and nights
Angus is the special deity and friend of beautiful youth and maidens. Dermot of the Love-spot, a follower of Finn Mac Cumbal and lover of Grania of whom we shall hear later was bred up with Angus in the Palace on the Boyne.
He was the typical lover of Irish legend, when he was slain by the wild boar of Ben Bulben Angus revives him and carries him off to share his immoritaliy in his fairy palace.
Well that is the Celtic tale of Angus Og- I hope you Enjoy -It is a bit difficult to undersand at times but that is the old langauge . I hope you all are doing well and I am on the mend. Think like a Hummingbird-

Think like a Hummingbird-
Hummingbirds are some of the most fascinating and flashy fliers you'll ever see. ´¯) ¸.☆´¯)
(¸☆´ (¸.´´¯`•.¸¸.☆
☆• ☆...ŁƗǤĦŦ & ŁØV€☆ • ☆
I've loved hummingbirds for a very long time now. And I've had an wild humminbird that has lived on my porch for the last 7years. Did you know that hummingbirds can live up to 17years of age! And if you want to attract them and keep them coming around like myself, you might not be sure how to get started. After all, there's  so much info out there. This I do know! And It can be a little overwhelming what to do and what things you should do?
So I thought I would provide a little inside on these amazing tiny feathered gems."(✿◠‿◠)˙•٠•●c
ƸӜƷ
Here is a little bit of my own advise on my own
Rosy! I hope this will help you All!
1-Use the colour red! It really does work! In north America, the flowers are best adapted for these feathered gems pollination that are bright red blooms with a tubular shape. Of course that isn't always the rule, there is also the Red Bee Balm too. I have found over the 7years of growing these beauties that the hummingbirds of the north American cant' stay away form them when the bloom starts in late summer to ending in late october. These Bee Balms [which come also in other colorus too like that of white, pink, purple, lavender and many others], can grow to be 6  feet tall on thin stakes
Hummingbirds will instinctively watch and look for Red things and investigate them too!
Even research has seen these gems  make detours to check out the tail-lights of parked cars and even someones sunburned nose! Theres no question that planting Red flowers will help bring these gems into your garden.
2-We don' t need Fancy Food in the Feeders. I am sure you all have seen in the stores, in hte plant department for birds/hummingbirds where they actually sell hummingbird food. Well, there are companies that sell hummingbird nectar, but please don't buy it. And don't ever use it for you tiny feathered gems. I have never used the stuff! Myself. You see, If you look on the ingredities it will say bad red dyes and other kinda chemcials that are in the mix. What you can do which is much is much healther and i find easier  is just make your own like I have for years!
Hummingbird food-
Measure out: 1 part [cup]white sugar to 4parts[cups]water.
mix it thouroughly.then boil the mixture for at least 1min.
This will remove all the impurities it might have in there, plus it will keep longer too! and not spoil.
When the mixture cool what i have done is put it in either plastic or glass container and the put in the refrigergtor and this will keep even longer until you need it.
Note; NEVER! add HONEY! to your mixture it will very much harm your wild hummingbirds. and no red food coloring either the clear works just fine.. I can promise you that!
3-Keep it Clean. What I mean from this! Your Feeders! You have to keep an eye on the sugar water that is in your feeders for growing Mold! Why!f Because mold can be very dangerous to your featherous gems.
If you are going to put our feeders it is essential that you keep the clean and to replace the food mixture regularly. In hot weather I would change you feeders at least 1-week. In the cold times of the year I would do it when the mixture starts to look cloudy. What you want is the nice clear clean look. Thats why you don't use Red Dye. [Note; I know in one of my older posts I used to use the red food coloring but i have since know better not to use it and that  is why I am re-doing this post]
4-Always put your feeders out where you hummingbirds cand find them! Hummingbirds are always looking for some kinda food source and when the winter comes depending on where you live, in resent years I have noticed hummingbirds have stoped the huge migrtion to the south and have deciede to stay behind at theyre summer homes even in the coldest winters. This would be many of the peoples homes of backyards and lotsssssssssssssss! of apts porchs like myself! So What you should do is find the plastic sort of humming feeders with red on them and these work great during these months.
5-Sty alert and be Patient. If you are a first time hummingbird watcher and putting an feederin your backyard home or apt porch. Hummingbirds are quite amazing creatures and they will find your feeders . Just watch and see. It may only take a few days. They  may zip up to the feeders for a quick slip, many times before you ever catch them in the act. But keep watching you will love it as much as myself. When I started over 7years ago. And now I have a wild hummingbird that talks back to me called Rosy.. If you have a look in other much older post you might find an image of her I have taken many images of her. I hope to show her again.
I hope that you all like my post and it will help you all find you hummingbirds . love you alll so very much. my dears -ooooxxx) Your Wendy. With love and joy my dear Friends and Followers.

I thought I would write a post for the up-coming spring.
I have cleaned all my hummingbird feeders and taken off their warmers [thick wool socks] and made brand new feed for the three plastic feeders I keep for the colder tempertures. When the weather gets a bit warmer I will add my two other glass feeders.
It is very important to keep your feeders clean for your hummingbirds even in the winter months too. Keeping the mold and fresh feed for them is so important because you are their only sourse of food to stay alive during the cold months. I also found out that the red dye is not a good idea. I found that the red dye can made our feathers gems becks weaken over time. Which could be dangerous for the hummingbird because this is their only way of getting food. plus I have found out that some hummingbirds can live up to 17years..
At the end of this post I will put my own receipe of humminbird feed if you don't have one of your own.
If you don't know your Zones I did a post on Zones that you can look up on my other posts - Called Planting Hummingbird Flowers Posted on Friday January 25, 2013 hope this well help my dear friends and Followers ..

 "(✿◠‿◠)˙

I also thought I would post some tips on some great flowers for your hummingbirds and just for your gardens. Happy gardening my dear friends and Followers!
-Coneflowers Rule! You may ask why? First of all, these beauty's are great perennial's which are great in any area that is cold or rainy. They are native anywhere and easy to growin zones 3-8. They need little maintenance and are happest with a sunny area. It also best to have them well drain soiled or the same goes in your pots. Coneflowers are attractive to many gardens creatures, including painted lady butterflies, monarchs, fritillaries, swallowtails and of course hummingbirds.
There are so many colors options now than ever before. Like before You  don't have to settle just on purple. You can try yellow, orange, Red and many other colours too. All kinda birds love these too.
Plus the seed heads of these flowers can be used in the fall for other birds seeds for food. These birds could be cardinals, godfinches and many others.
-Butterfly Bush This beauty real name is [Buddleja davidii]. It will grow in the 5to9 zone range so it can't handle the cold as much as some flowers. It can grow up to 15feet high, with hunderds of blossoms and because it will endure drought and heat it is one of the favorites. It has arching spikes full of purple, white, pink or yellow flowers. The blutterfly bush will bloom from midsummer through the first frost. [depending on how cold your area you live]. Plant in full sun. This beauty can be invasive in some areas, but all you really need to do is lots of trimming.
-Mockorange This is another great bloom. Its real name Philadelphus and it grow in Zones 3to8. The Mockorange blooms in early summer will bear its gorgeous pure whit flowers that will last for weeks with the most delicious smell you will every smell!
Most of these Mockorange flowers can grow up as tall as 6feet tall, but like any flowering tree, flowingplant, of flower you can also find a compact or dwarf varieties or you can just dwart it yourself like I have done with many of my flowers and trees.
These Mockoranges need fullsun, It is the flower that will flower in late spring or early summer and then will bloom again later in the season. They are beautiful snow white sensations...
Spirea- The Spirea is another beauty. This one will grow in the 3to8 Zones and its real flower name is the Spiraea. It is an easy to grow shrub with exciting colours too. They provied several seasonal interest, its the summer blooms are individual flowers very tiny but together and pack quite a punch. The Spirea prefers full sun. Its also important to find a cultivar that right for your area in your backyard or porch area. Some of these Spirea's can grow to 18inches tall, while others can get to several feet tall.
The favorties of these are the white flowers. so most will cultivate them. There is alternative colors like the pink flowers too.
Potentila- This is a great one! Called the Potentilla fruticosa. It is in the Zones 2to7 which makes it a great flower for the cold winters and summers.  The Potentilla is one of the longest blooming shrubs around. beginning to flower in late spring and then continuing until fall. These are great because it does well even in the frigid Zone 2... It is good to keep the Potentila in full sun, well drained soil. These are beautiful bright yellow blooms and can get up to 4feet tall.
Hydrangeas- These might be the most beloved summer blooming flowering shurb, that you'll but in your garden. They will handle cold frigid regions 3to10 Zones with lovely huge blossoms. They are very easy care, and they even are happy in partial shaded areas in your garden. The bigleaf hydrangeas are ideal for mild climates but they will also live in the cold winters too. They have beautiful large white blooms, among the favorites are the pink Annabelle, but there are many other colours too.
If you need the hummingbird food for your own hummingbirds
1cup of sugar white to 4 cups of water
put in a large pot, bring to a boil for one 1min. stir till clear and then let cool . put in either plastic or glass container and keep in your referagtor. till you need to use.
I hope that you Enjoyed this post for the up coming sping! I do love your all dearly my dear Friends and Followers YOur Wendy - Much love and joy to you all.   "(✿◠‿◠)˙•٠•●c Celibate life´Magic Surrounds Us ƸӜƷ ♪♫♪♫♪❤❤

For the Love of Poetry!

I have always loved Poetry!
And Fall is an Beautiful time of the year even thought I know that its the ending time of my beloved time in my Garden. I do love the fall. I found this wonder poem that is quite beautiful!
by Robert Seymour Brides..
I hope that your will all Enjoy this most wonderness poem of his.. In autumn moonlight, when the white air wanders is frangrant in the wake of summer hence, 'Tis sweet to sit entranced, and muse thereon. In melancholy and godlike indolence: when the proud spirtit, lull'd by mortal prime.
To find pretence of immortality, veiweth all monents from the birth of time all things whate'er have been or yet shall be And like a garden, where the year is spent, the ruin of old life is full of yearning, Mingling poetic rapture of I am ent with flowers and sunshine of spring's sure only in visions of the white air wan returning, by godlike fancy seized and dwelt upon.
Pretty amazing Poem my dears! I hope you all Enjoyed Robert Brides beautiful discribtion of fall and the garden end and beginning.

The Fox of Inca of Peru

The Fox of Inca of Peru-
The fox is one of the primary Gods of the Inca of Peru.
They named the constellation, Known to us as the Pleiades, after the Fox.
The Inca Fox of Peru, placement in the eastern sky where the sunrise's on the winter-solstice is what makes this creature's myth so important in Peru-
As with many other cultures, the Inca had a flood story too.
In this story the Fox is found clinging to the top of a mountain as the water rises. Finally the fox is almost jostled form his perch high up on the mountain top, by the other animals trying to to get up from the rising waters themselves. So that his tail touches the water and it is for this reason that the fox is said to have a black tail. I found this to be a very interesting tale.
And I wish that I could have put a few images in the post for you my dear friends and Followers but for now, at least I will continue my story telling
love you all my dears -ooo) Your Wendy
As for a few images of this post. Well this one was a bit hard to fine. The ones that I did fine, are quite old and don't really have any painting of the legend.
