The Byakko Tiger

The Byakko Tiger-
Byakko Tiger
Well my dears I found a new and rather beautiful Creature
I believe myself in this post. He is one of Four Symbol of the
Chinese constellations so I will probably continue and do all
four for you! The Byakko Tiger is sometimes called the White Tiger of the West, and he is also known as:
Baihuin White Tiger [Chinese], Byakko White Tiger in
[Japan],  Baekho White Tiger in [Korean], & the
Bach Ho White Tiger in [Vietnamese].
According to the Chinese Culture, the Tiger is
the King of all the beast. It is also said that the Tiger
especially the White Tiger has been presented with a
on his forehead for decades. It is said to the legend of the Chinese constellations the
Byakko Tiger
White tiger being one of them - that his tail would turn into white when he reached
the age of 500years. In this way the White Tiger, became one of many of China's  mythological creatures.
From what I understand about the myth, is that the white tiger or Baihuin or Byakko could only
appear when the Emperor of either China or Japan ruled with absolute virtue/or if there was peace
throughout the world. This would be the only way that they would see the presents of the Godly
White Tiger. This is because of the Tigers color after the 500 years and he thus became the mythological
guardian of the Chinese five elements. These other elements I will go over soon in later posts, that
this well all make since I hope..;o I found another saying about the White Tiger of the West that might
help in your understanding of the legend~ 'The White Tiger of the West is associated with metal.
The Byakko Tiger
Therefore , metal is placed in a grave, at this moment the ceremonial connection with the tiger god is effected with the deceased King. So According to the Chinese Annals of the Wu and Yueh, three days after the burial of the King , the essence of the King and the elements of mental assumed the shape of a White Tiger, after which the White Tiger, then crouches down on the top of the Kings grave. Here the Tiger is a protector - A Preserver - As we have seen White Jade was used when the Tiger God of the West was Worshipped;
It is known as 'Tiger Jade', a tiger was depicted on the jade symbol. To the Chinese the Tiger was the King
of all animals and lord of the mountains and the Tiger-jade ornament was specially reserved for commanders of the armies. It was also said that the Male Tiger was among other things, the God of War & in this
capacity it not only assisted the armies of the Great Emperors, but the White Tiger has fought off the demons
that have threatened the dead in their graves. Well I hope that I was able to write the legend in
away that you all could understand.. I am going to try to do all of the Four of the Symbols of the
Chinese constellations.  So I will be continuing with this post with the White Tiger as their protector
And Guardian. I hope that you all my dears friends and followers will

come by to see the next post and that you like the change I did
