Phoenix❤❤☼ღ(◕‿◕。

Phoenix
The phoenix has been written about many times over this I do
know...But since it is such a fabulous bird in the Ancient legends,
Middle East and may have its origins in the Egyptian Bennu Bird, I thought I would add the Grand and Powerful Bird to my Collection of Magick Creatures.
I found in my research on the Phoenix it is also can be spelled, "Fenix." It is described I found in a few different  ways depending on what country you maybe to be in. For the Greeks, the Phoenix is described as looking somewhat like a pheasant in the shape, but larger than an eagle. Its plumage is mostly a
reddish - purple color. The Phoenix being purple with gold around its neck too.
Other accounts of the Grand Phoenix appearances say that it was purple and gold, red and Blue. This magnificent bird was said to be very rare, that no two birds of its kind would be alive at the same time.
It is said that the Phoenix the very first phoenix ~ came to us in the year 485-425B.C from a Greek writer Herodotus who related that as one bird died after 500 years of life, another would take it to the temple of the sun at Heliopolis for burial. I've have always found the Phoenix to be very fascinating. I hope

this history of the Phoenix is for you my Readers too! In continuing to the history of the Phoenix there were many other versions of the  origins of the Grand Bird;
1) Ovid and Pliny in 43BC - AD77 believed that the living Phoenix
constructed a nest of spices, upon which it incinerated itself.
From this the new re-birth phoenix emerges from the sorted maggot, when they finally developed to the progeny the bird took form from the ashes of the former bird in the nest to Heliopolis.
2) An even later version of the birth death and re-birth of the Phoenix states that it will construct its nest of spices and sang to the
sun god who filled the nest with fire. Which consuming the bird. From the ashes a entirely mature adult Phoenix emerges from the ashes taking the ashes of the altar at Heliopolis.

The final version that I could find were actually 2- The Phoenix was adopted into the symbolism of the resurrection of Christ - A
symbol of immortality. The Phoenix was also well established in the ecclesiastical repertoire and commentaries were made by Tacitus in AD 100 and Aelian AD 200. These all had now achieved a vastly stronger and larger Phoenix - Vast in size and much more luxurious in his coloring together with an estimated much longer life span  more than four solar years combined . Of course this is all different opinions ~ of the Grandest bird ever born in my opinion.

You the Readers of my blog have to decide your own opinion on what you think about this subject and the Phoenix. I hope that Ihave given you enough to think about it. And again I thank you all for reading my blog and coming tovisited all of you all over the world Wendy..
