✨ Tiny little door found in a Tree ✨

Good Evening my dears, I have found a magical little story in the woods of Kansas. It happened in the deep wooded trees of Kansas. In a little park called ‘Overland’.  A family happened to be walking through these woods, were about to discover something very special & enchanted in this little park called ‘Overland’. What this family discovered in the Park was something pretty incredible that was within the woods on the outskirts of the city of Kansas. It started as a strange yet magical dwelling that began appearing almost overnight. As more visitors began uncovering the magick of the discovery, they started uncovering the tiny little doors along the Tomahawk Creek Trail, that was in this Overland Park. And these miniature entrances were carefully concealed in the trunks of many trees in the woods. What made it even more magick was, when one would open a tiny door they would often find extraordinary little homes within the trees. The humans and family's that found these magick settlements were dubbed founded by the firefly forest too! It appeared to be the home to an enchanting community of magick creatures or perhaps group of faeries or a colony of elves...Not surprisingly the word got out and the local children were delighted with magick creatures that were living in their park. However, some wondered just how these tiny homes came to be? Some just couldn't just believe it was just magick. As children do...or adults that never forgotten what it’s like to believe! When I did discover this story, I was so excited at the possibility of fairy homes but as I read on finding out that it was a magick project by a woman who needed a way to help herself and her children from a painful divorce. And how she helps so many others with her Magick Project with so many children and families in need I just had to share Robyn Frampton Magick Story…This is her Story… Robyn is a single mom who just moved near Overland Park in 2012, seeking a place of peace after a very stressful divorce for her and her young boys Parker and Tyler who were also having a hard time coping with the separation in divorce.

In this story of the Faerie homes, Robyn explains ‘In the beginning she and her children didn’t do this for other folks, it was actually a short film about the forest called ‘The Gnomist. This short film was for her and her two boys to get through the pain of divorce & to stay in that wonderment of child fantasy for a little while longer. At first Robyn had built the tiny homes to help her young sons to cope with painful realities of separation that comes with divorce. However, over a course of time the people of the small town started to notice the park within the forest, in turn it became a popular landmark with the local community. You could say the magick had spread throughout the forest and the park of Overland. You may wonder how this happened? Well, people just need a little nudged to believe in the Unknown and the Unseen of the world of Magick. It also gave the folks of the suburbs of Kanas, to overcome their life of routine. The tiny magick homes gave the neighbor’s something to bond with together.

In this I mean the colorful tiny homes, in the trees, made by Robyn.

Indeed, both young and old were enchanted by these trees with the bright colored doors and the incredible detail with the trees as well.

Robyn had decorated every room she had made, in all the tree homes with miniature beds and pocket-size furniture, to give there was positive hints that they had fairy occupants. There was a teeny kitchen that had even placed a little kettle on the boil, using dry ice to create steam. All of these touches were like a magnet, which kept the towns people coming back for more. There was so many things that the residents of the town loved about the forest of the fairies –

It contained a tiny house where the people could actually leave notes for the fairies. So many visitors to the Firefly forest would leave messages for the fairies, that were clipped to the tree, which Robyn would gather up when no one was around.

 After a while the word of Robyn’s Frampton fairies’ houses gone around and spread to many other families outside of their small community. So many were coming to visit the enchanted community of fairy houses.

However, there was one family that came to Robyn’s fairy forest that was truly magical for them. This would be the Fisher family. The reason for the special trip to the Firefly Forest is sadly the family had lost their youngest 3yr old daughter Allie to brain cancer. The couple often visits the forest with their daughter Kelly to reminisce about Allie who loved nothing more than the great outdoors

Allie had been especially fond of owls, and so her family had nicknamed her ‘little Owl.’ Once, then Fisher left a note in the Firefly Forest in memory of her daughter and she had signed it off with the words ‘I love you Little Owl.’ Robyn upon finding the note, new exactly what she needed to do. So she immediately thought was to make a special door for Allie. So the next time the family came to visit they would have a wonderful heartwarming surprised. Apparently Robyn also told CNN too… When Robyn finished Allie’s little door it was set in its very own hollow trunk of a tree. It was painted green and set with a tiny gold owl. Perfect for the little girl that loved owls and for her memory too.

Sadly, over time the forest hasn’t enjoyed a happy ending. But there is a happy ending to this story I do promise you that…It would seem at the height of the tiny fairy homes popularity, Parks Director Greg Ruether had expressed concerns over them and who would be responsibility for maintaining them all? After much talks I would guess the Park Director decreed that all the tiny fairy homes and buildings must be removed from the woods altogether. So that was the end of the Gnomist forest magick project. So Robyn and her family packed down all the tiny fairy homes and were off to a new life in Utah. But as I promised that isn’t the end of

Robyn’s Magick story of the fairy homes and her project that grew much bigger. This is why there was one fairy door that Robyn refused to take down. And that was Allie’s fairy door, so her family could always have that door to come and visit their ‘little owl’ as they would lovely call her. Soon many other children would benefit her magical work that started with her own healing and that of her children too. And that of the kindness that she refused to take down a fairy door for a family who had a great lost. Robyn Magick works of the Gnomist project had support and fans around the world, which brought her to her next huge project… destined for a children’s hospital in Salt Lake City…  She is amazing woman that turned a horrible time in her life to a positive one. GREY MAN OF THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS

‘Grey Man of the Scottish' Highlands’

Hello my dear friends & followers. I found another interesting legend about, ‘the Grey Man.’ However, this spirit lies in the Scottish Highlands called ‘The Ben Mac Dhui Mountain’. It happens to be the 2^nd highest mountain in the Scottish Highlands. Unlike the post, I did on the ‘Grey Man’ who warns the people of Pawley Island of hurricanes. He’s a good spirit in my opinion.

However, the Grey Man of the Scottish Highlands has a much different tale. Anyone who ventured up the Ben Mac Dhui Mountain of the highlands, always felt a dreadful fear going through their body. They say, as soon as they get to a certain spot up on the high mountain of Ben Mac Dhui a fog or mist would roll across the cairns. That’s when you would see a shadow of the creature. It is said that’s also where the spirit lurks about as a huge creature terrifying monster if you happen to encounter it! They call it, ‘I am Fear Liath Mor’ or The Big Gray Man’.

Some see him as an old figure in robes; a giant or even a demon. Ben Machdhui, also has a reputation of being haunted entity, popularly known as Grey Man or the Fear Liath Mhor in Gaelic.  The creature doesn’t just threaten you with un-earthly forces of physical power but it can also cause people who encounter it to have a strong suicidal sense of depression & panic. They have said that the Mountain Ben Mac Dhui is the 2^nd Highest mountain in all of Scotland, standing over 4,000 feet high. It’s an imposing sight & substantial test for experienced climbers, so if an average person were to try you could only just image! Many of the witnesses who have seen or felt the presence of the Scottish Grey Man are serious hardened Mountaineers not prone to flights of fancy.

It was the year 1891 when the first person reveal he had encounter the creature in on the Ben Mac Dhui Mountain Highlands of Scotland. His name was a Professor Norman Collie. Norman was a respected & well known climber in those days. When he gave his speech at the Cairngorm Club in 1925, his audience was truly stunned. This is what he said; Norman explained after the climb-up the mountain which he had done many of times, however this time it was very different. When he was coming down from the peak, he suddenly heard footsteps behind him. At first there was a think shroud of mist that came into the area without warning. Norman rationalized that it must have just a fog or the heavy clouds being so high on the mountain. He also thought the footsteps must have been an echo of his own. But Norman realized the noises were not corresponding to the movements he was making down the mountain. It sounded like a huge giant was following him. It was as if the giant was walking after him but taking steps of three or four times the length of Normans. So, this time down the mountain he was terrified and blindly ran for 4+5 miles down the mountainside until he could no longer hear the terrifying noise. Norman never returned to the mountain top to his dying days. He did resolute to believe there was something very scary that lived on the top of Ben MaDhui of Scotland.

The next two encounters of the Grey Man, apparently set the trend for the hundreds of other reported incidents on the High top of BenDhui of Scotland! Each person after Norman’s encounter would tell of either lumbering footsteps crunching towards them/or of huge grey figures looming out of the swirling mists. Most of the encounters are explained as paranoia & the effects of loneliness on the very high elevation of the highland mountain. This is especially when each person has seen the mist that descends upon them as often as it does. And as quickly too! Of, course some say that; the creature may require some investigation. However, I haven’t found any information where they have done this. Which makes me believe that even the skeletal are afraid to do their deep investigation? At some point, I might come back to this post and see if I can find any info that has been investigated on this! For now, The, two people that started this trend were Wendy Wood & Peter Dem Sham.

First will talk about Wendy Wood who’s one of Scotland’s pioneers of the Scottish National Party. She is also about as rounded about and rational person you could ever meet in Scotland. She too was gripped by a blind panic when walking through the Lairg Ghru Pass of the Ben MaDhui Mountain of Scotland. Wendy had thought after hearing the strange noise – thinking it might have been a fallen climber so she went to see if she could help…Suddenly she was overwhelmed by the feeling that she was being followed by someone or something, with an enormous size!

After that she was so Spooked, she took off down the mountain, not stopping until she reached the Whitewell, Farm which was five miles once she was off the mountain. Wendy Wood knew nothing of this legend. Others did know of it and dismissed it out of hand!

So, what do you believe? I’m just curious?

During the Second War2 there was another Scotsman that was also a grand mountaineer who served in the war2 as a rescue mountaineer. His name ‘Peter Den Sham’ who would located & save pilots who crashed in the Cairngorms mountains-Ben MaDhui of Scotland. In this Encounter Peter Den Sham decided one day in 1945 to climb Ben MaDhui. He arrived at the summit around noon. It was a clear day and beginning the second highest mountain in Scotland it was breathtaking. However, the mist as many have experienced before descended upon Peter so he decided to finish his lunch as quickly as possible and make his way back off the mountain. Peter knew the hill well, so he was in no way disturbed by this mist even though the visibility was very poor. As he set off he soon heard the familiar ‘Crunch, Crunch’. On the top of the Plateau behind him. Intrigued rather than afraid Peter went to investigate thinking of the ‘Grey Man and the paranoia of others encounters. However, the same happened to even Peter. The closer he got to the top of the Plateau he too was suddenly accosted by a sense of foreboding and his desire to flee the mountain was getting intense. It began to get more and more intense the closer he got to the Plateau. Finally, Peter too could not fight the feeling either and his desire to flee the mountain overcame him. Without even thinking Peter’s instinct took over him. He was soon running like everyone else had done (Running without thinking where you’re going). Just thinking in fear that you have to get the hell out off this mountain! You must remember the mountain is a very, very steep, over a 1000+ on the pass where you get down. It’s really not meant for running at All! Mind you Peter is a very experience climber too…So as he was running he was barely missing the steep cliffs of Lurcher’s Crag of 1000+feet down to his death. Peter Den Sham was left utterly convinced that something unnatural was stalking him on top of that mountain!

The stories above are legion in Scotland! I guest most only hear the noises. However, there are some that actually see strange figures.

I have read many accounts of folks living in the area of the Mountain in Scotland. Many have had different experiences. Some, have just heard the sounds, others seen the Creature. And other have been unfortunate to see both and been scared out of their minds. Of, course many theories have been thought of what might be up on that mountain. I myself believe it is a mythical creature. I have always believed that both Scotland and Ireland have had many mythical creatures both good and bad. Both countries are Magical Places to me! There is so many area’s in both countries that have still lots of remote areas for this kinda phenomenon. All I can figure for this is how can two men sitting right by each other see the same enormous creature walking towards them.

And the unexplained noises plus the creepy cold mist the always rolls in when the creature comes to call! The Liath Mor’; The Big Gray Man’; Some see him as an old figure in robes; a giant or even a demon. He also has a Gaelic name in a part of the world where Gaelic hasn’t been spoken for over 150years! Suggesting a long standing with tradition. Indeed, locals have and still do, take the apparition for granted.

It would seem that the ancient times of the Gaelic tradition are still alive in the haunted mountains of Scotland, even if some to the people have forgotten those old days…But the Creature on Ben Mac Dhui is still isolated and a very lonely mountain deep in its granite kingdom in the otherworld. Yet I believe he comes out when people come up to the top of his mountain to protect the ancient times of the Gaelic Traditions. So, he can be either a good/evil entity. In the folklore of the Gaelic Traditions I have done a few. There are a few that range for the hideous like the Nuckelavee which I have done if you want to check out on my blog to the Goddess Morgan too…who is a great one too.

As for the Marvelous Mountain of Scotland’s Highlands. I hope that they remain untouched and keep it a wild area in Scotland. It is a stunning and prestigious place, just the fact that it’s untouched by man. Whether its haunted or not the mountain will hopefully be remained unspoiled for Scotland into the future. Me Personally, I believe in the Grey Man as I believe in the Big Foot & Yeti too. I believe that people are getting to involved with the computer world and forgetting the past and the wonder of old legends and to belief! In them…

KITSUNE OF JAPANESE FOLKLORE

Kitsune of Japanese Folklore-

Good afternoon my dearest friends & followers, I just thought I would do some catching up
on my posting. I missed a few days from trying to fix my window10 and a few other things but
I have some time today. It is so hot today 91degrees+ so I am staying inside by a fan trying not to get that migraine that I woke up with...So today we are going to the Japanese folklore of the Japanese foxes. I have found these creatures very interesting because when my son was between 12 and 14. he was very much into the trading cards of the Japanese type and the Japanese film with the nine tail.
However, this post is all on the true folklore of what the Japanese folks believe on the Kitsune believe. The kitsune can have up to nine tails, depending on the age of the fox, its wisdom and power. The only way to kill a kitsune is to cut off all of its tails, as it is said that one of the tails is his main tail which is the source of all its power. Not knowing which tail is the main one, sine basically they all look the same, one would have to cut off all its tails to kill the Kitsune. In the tale of the Kitsune of Japan the fox has up to One, Five, Seven and the most common is the Nine tails in the folklore tales. It is said that when a Kitsune gains its ninth tail its fur becomes either white as snow or shimmering gold. Another power that the Kitsune will gain is becoming a shapeshifter and will usually reach the age of 100+years old. It learns the ability to take a human form as it gains wisdom and power from its last ninth tail. So basically a fox has to live up to a Hundred years before he can become a Kitsune and then gain the powers of shapeshifting form a fox to human and back again. It is also said that the kitsune can duplicate other human beings if they wish. Meaning they can take the look of any human that they wish too. Which could be very creepy. And this could bring out a dark side of the Kisune I have heard. The Kitsune can be either male or female.
However, the Kitsune will usually take the form of a young Japanese girl, These men and women are

said to be very beautiful women and older men. Also the Kitsune are believed to possess superior intelligence, long life and magical powers too! The Kitsune is said to be a type of spiritual entity, which is often translated as fox spirit. However this doesn't me that the Kitsune is a ghostly spirit nor do they act like a normal spirit or ghost. They are fundamentally are a different form or a regular fox. It is said too, that all long-lived foxes with the Kitsune spirit within them gain supernatural abilities.
There are two very common kitsune classifications in the Japanese folklore of the kitsune spirit. 
The zenko- 善狐-which literally means good foxes. These zenko are truly a benevolent, celestial foxes that are associated with the God Inari. These foxes are sometimes called simply the Inari Foxes. On the other hand, The yako-野狐-meaning literally field foxes, also nogitsune. These spirit foxes tend to be mischievous or even malicious. There are other type of Kitsune foxes - like that of the ninko which is an invisible fox spirit that human beings can only perceive when it posseses them. 
It would seem that there are up to thirteen traditional Kitsune which all have the supernatural abilities when in the kitsune form. 
Physically the kitsune are noted for having as many as nine tails-these kyubi no kitsune- 九尾の狐- 
nine-tailed foxes which gain the abilities to see and hear anything that happens anywhere in the entire world.
The thirteen different kinds of the Kitsune each correspond with a element-

One of the most important things to a Kitsune is their FREEDOM. Another important thing about these interesting creatures of Japan is they don't fare well being locked away or being forced to do something they don't want to do. If you were to do any of the above things to a kitsune would most likely get you killed if you don't free them- even after that you never know about these creatures they may still decided to eat you. The kitsune also love to play tricks on humans, like taking things from people & hiding them so that they never find their stuff.

So basically the Kitsune loves to do anything to piss humans off. Kitsune have their own thing too! These are called Kitsune balls or the star balls, which is a small white-gold ball. I happens to be the kitsune most prized possession-since it's basically their life force in a magical ball.
If you as a human get your hands on a Kitsune's star ball, you would have the ability to control the Kitsune and make the creature do your bidding. There is a cost if you do happen to get a hold of the Star Ball of the Kitsune's. Why? its because as I have said above in these post, the Kitsune hate being stripped of their freedom. So when and it is when creature Kitsune gets their star ball back, it could be a very serious repercussions for the person who took it from the Kitsune. There are some tales about the Kitsune that have difficulty hiding their tails when they take their human form; It is said you might beable to see the Kitsune as in their human form if the fox get drunk. 

This is the most common method of discerning the creature of it true nature. Yet you must be very careful that it doesn't realize that is what you are doing. There are also different foxlike traits in a kitsune, such as their coat of either fine hair, a fox-shaped shadow or a reflection that shows their true form. Another way to tell it they are a 'Kitsune-gao or Fox-faced which refers to the human females who have a narrow face with close set eyes, thin eyebrows & high cheekbones. Basically all of these traits if a woman human has it is showing it Kitsune that is inside them. It would seem that in the Japanese tradition these facial structures are considered attractive, so some of the tales ascribe it to the foxes in human form. 
I found a few interesting facts about the Kitsune:
1-They have a fear & hatred of dogs, even which in human form. Some Kitsune can become so rattled by the presence of a dog, that they'll revert to the shape of a fox to escape.
2-Some folks that are particularly devout individuals, may be able to see through a fox's disguise automatically.
There is one historical story within the Japanese Kitsune that was about the imperfections that are in the kitsune's humane form. His name was Koan and he was credited with wisdom and magical powers of divination. At least that is what the tale says... Apparently the tale of Koan was staying at his home of one of his devotees when he scaled his foot entering a bath because the water was too hot. Out of enormous pain, Koan ran out of his bathroom naked. When the folks of the household saw koan, they were astonished to see that Koan had fur covering much of his body, along with a fox's tail. Apparently Koan had transformed himself in front of all without knowing it because he was in so much pain. He become a elderly fox running away.

There are other supernatural abilities that the Kitsune which are more dangerous to humans such as generating fire or lighting from either their mouths or fox tails. Another magick ability is to willfully manifest in dreams of others, flight, invisibility, and lastly they can create illusions that are so elaborate as to be almost indistinguishable from reality. Some other tales speak of the kitsune with even greater powers-Like the ability to bend time and space. Drive people mad or even take fantastic shapes such as a tree of incredible height or a second moon in the sky. Other been known to have characteristics that of vampires or succubi and will feed on the life or spirit of human beings. This generally only happens through sexual contact.
An few more interesting facts about the Kitsune of Japan.
Their real name - Kitsunetsuki-狐憑き-means the state of being possessed by a fox. The victim is always a young woman, whom the fox enter beneath her fingernails or through her breasts. In some cases, the victim's facial expressions are said to change in such a way that they resemble those of a fox. Another tradition that holds to fox possession can cause illiterate victims to be temporarily gain the ability to read. It would seem that Kitsune was measured as a illness. In the very early Heian period in Japan it was very common to diagnosis it as a mental illness up to the early 20th century. In the late century of Japan, there was a Doctor by the name of Shunichi Shimamura that noted that physical diseases that caused fever were often considered Kitsunetsuki. In the ancient past, when such gentle measure failed or a priest wasn't available for an exorcism to drive the fox out, the victims of Kitsunetsuki were beaten or badly burned in hopes of forcing the fox spirit to leave.

Over the years into the 21th century the belief has lost most of the strength it use too. However, the stories of fox possession still appears in the tabloid press and popular media at times. One notable occasion involved allegation that a member of the Aum Shinrikyo cult had been possessed. It is also a long belief that the condition symptoms include cravings of rice or sweet red beans, listlessness, restlessness and aversion to any eye contact. There are a few good aspects being possessed by a kitsune, that is if their human being host treat them with respect. What the kitsune might do, is use their magic to give a long live, protection, knowledge to the human host live without illness. Another interesting story was in the 12th century, which tells of a minister that moved into an old mansion only to discover a family of foxes living there. At first he tried to scare the family of foxes away, then claimed that the house 'has been ours for many years, and...we wish to register a vigorous protest. The minister refused and the foxes resign themselves to moving to another abandoned lot nearby. Lastly the Kitsune are commonly portrayed as lovers, usually in stories involving young human males and a Kitsune who takes the form of a human woman. In most cases the Kitsune may be a seductress. These stories in the Kitsune are usually in romantic nature. What happens in the lover verses the kitsune, the young man unknowing marries the fox, who proves as a devoted wife at first. However, over the years of marriage the kitsune has a harder time keeping her kitsune hidden from her husband. Her husband eventually discovers the fox's true nature, and the fox-wife is forced to leave him. In some cases the husband may wakes as if he was in a bad dream, when he wakes he is filthy, disoriented and far from home. Sadly he must then return to confront his abandoned family in shame all do to the kitsune.

Many stories tell of fox-wives bearing children. When such progeny are human, they possess special physical or supernatural qualities that often pass to their own children..

Good afternoon my dearest friends & followers. For today post I am going to bring you to the world of Welsh folklore. This creature lives in the lakes of wales & is descripted many different ways in the Welsh folklore they say...
Some say the creature could be a dwarf, beaver, crocodile and even sometimes said to be
a demon. However, the favorite of the Welsh is depicted as a large frog with claws on all limbs. The Afanc will sometimes have magick powers and have been known to be able to speak Welsh too. It is said the afanc was a monstrous creature that would prey upon anyone that was foolish enough to fall or to swim in the lakes which are warned not to swim in. The most common tale that surrounds the Afanc creature, is a town that was plagued with these carnivourous creatures at a enormous scale. So much so that the people of wales had to resolve it only if they couldn't kill the Afanc's creatures but that to was impossible. So they came up with one solution if they can't kill these carnivourous creatures, they shall take them to another lake away form them. Sounds impossible Eh! well, what they did was is employ the Afanc's one and only weakness. This happens to be a beautiful woman who can lure the Afanc to sleep upon her lap. After she has done this, the villagers then bind the Afanc with magical chains & use two oxen to drag the creature across to the next lake that they found where no-one will be harmed.

The brave woman, has many tales on of these relates after the creature was bound in chains & awakened it was furious. It was enraged and was thrashing  & crushed the maiden in whose lap it still lay. Another version was that the poor maiden breasts were bitten off. Still after much effort the beast was finally dragged off the poor maiden to the lake Cwm Ffynnon. As for the names or who these young maidens were that gave their lives for this task, it was never reviled. I could only guess that they might be maidens of poor villages that would say it would be a honor for their daughter to save the town or entire villages for their daughter sacrifice . I think a lot of that kinda thing happened in those ancient times of wales, Scotland and England too.

Besides the Lake Cwm Ffynno the Afanc is said to live in a number of different lakes in Wales such as Lake llyn, Lake Llion, Lake Llyn Barfog, & Lake Llyn-y-Afanc which bares its name. As I have said above too there are many tales that involving the creature Afanc. It is described as a fearsome beast, which kills and eats its victims who enters or falls near its watery domain. The Afanc can also cause flooding and mass drowning in the areas they live too. I hope you found the creature of Wales, the Afanc interesting .. I hope you all have a wonderful day

CENTAURS

Centaurs-

Good Morning my dears, And welcome to my humble blog. Today we are going into the Magick World  of the Centaurs. The Centaurs lived in a region called Pelion in Magnesia, a coastal region in Central Greece. They can be either female or male.They have a head, torso and arms of either a man or woman & the body and legs of a horse. Centaurs are very large in size. However, the Male Centaur is much larger than the female Centaur. As I have said earlier the Magick Centaur are part human part horse beings. First I thought I would give you a bit of history of the Centaur, then I will go into the myth's of the Magical Creature of the Greeks. Centaurs are said to be the children of Ixion and Nephele. The tale kinda goes like this...Ixion fell in love with Queen Hera, and tried to rape her, but she reported his to her husband the King Zeus, who decided to test his wife's testimony to him. For this purpose, the God Zeus made a Cloud resembling the Queen Hera. Zeus laid the Cloud that look like like Hera beside Ixion to see what he would do. So when Ixion awaken seeing Hera beside him and then started to go around the kingdom boasting that he had enjoyed the company overnight of the Queen Hera. This of course didn't sit well, with the all powerful Zeus who bound Ixion to a large wheel, on which he is whirled into the winds by Zeus. The cloud, that Zeus made of Hera that lay beside his wife and queen gave birth to the Centaurs when Zeus consorted with the Magnesian Mares, the Centaurs were born. However, Diodorus said at the time that the Centaurus were the sons of Apolo and Stilbe, daughter of the River God Peneus. The Thessalian river flows from the foot of Mount Pindus and Creusa. There is another version or saying about the CENTAURS thus we are 'Like the Mother below, the Father above'. There are others that say the Centaur was born directly from the Cloud that Zeus created. Mythology where it is said that the Centaurs had one father known with the name Ixion, who was one of Ares sons. Ixion killed the father of his wife, but Zeus took pity on him and forgave his acts after some time. However, in order to do so, as I had said above Zeus had to test him. As a result of the test he failed as he tried to seduce the Queen Hera and mating many others in the Kingdom of Gods. Resulting in the making of many of his Children that they Called Centaurs. Others say that the Centaurus mated with the Magnesian Mares. One never really knows, how these amazing creatures came about so many Centuries ago.

Good or Bad Reputations in
Greek History-
It would be a huge mistake if I didn't go into the history of the Centaurs. You see not all centaurs were good in the day of the Greeks. Some of them were very bad others were very good. The Good Centaurs that were actually pretty famous in the Greek Mythology and History. These Centaurs aimed to find harmony in Nature. The first on of these Centaurs was Cheion, who was a scholar who loved harmony in nature, learned many things about medicine within nature, the arts, philosophy and the liberal Arts too. Cheion also learned about disciplines and the sciences that were usually irrelevant with the Centaurs.

However Cheion was very different than most Centaurs. He was mostly know as the tutor of the God Apollo. Also as a advisor to many people and deities such as Peleus was Cheion whom he also advised t marry the Goddess Thetis. Although the Goddess was resisting the wedding at first, she decided to marry Peleus and gave birth to the Hero Achilles.

was Pholos-
Pholos happened to be a friend of Heracles. Pholos allowed
Heracles to stay with him and gave him a grand feast in his fancy cave. In this cave Heracles asked for wine and the best food; And of course Pholos opened his Jars of his Best wine for his friend Heracles, however the two friends had no idea they were being watch by hundreds of jealous drunk wild Centaurs who wanted all that Pholos was giving to the God Heracles. Besides they could smell the wine and food being that they were have beast. So when the Centaurs though the timing was just right about a hundred of them attacked the two friends inside the cave, where they were just sitting and realizing, enjoying their company and the fine feast and good wine. other. The battle was ferocious and many of the centaurs and humans men were either killed or injured. On of the main Centaurs that was seriously hurt was their beloved Cheiron. He was so badly wounded that he wished to die even though he was immortal. It was a very sad day in the Kingdom of the Gods - Prometheus Heard the cries of the Beloved Cheiron and then offered him to die and gave him his immortality. Indeed the Centaur did died laving Prometheus being eternally alive. A gif that shows the kindness of Cheiron soul even at his death bed, surrounded by people that loved him dearly. There were only a few images to pick from the death of Cheiron however, I hope I pick the the most graces one I could find, for the most special and kindle Centaur of all time.
Now as for the Second known Good Centaur named Pholos. I am sorry wasn't able to find any photos, drawings, painting of any kind in the Greek Mythology. I don't really understand that but there wasn't much written about him either so who is to say what is the truth about this Centaur named Pholos. All that I do know about this Centaur Pholo is and what he is most famous for is the Centauromachy, which means to the Centaurs of the bad nature. So I guess he wasn't the most kindle of sort of Centaur like that of our honor Cheiron - I am guessing? You see they or Pholos and his Centaurs had grand wars against the Lapiths. This is not a Good quality in my opoion, its more of a bad one. It would seem that the Centaur Pholos and others in his group attempted to Carry off the Hippodamia& and the rest of the Laith besides the Wars between the Lapiths& the

Centaurs. The Centaurs with the Bad reputation, were said to be extremely heavy drinkers of wine and were usually depicted as beasts. Probably because they were so unpredictable and wild. Some of the Centaurs would often be so drunk& violent, they would eat raw flesh while drinking too much wine. These Creature also had a very bad reputations in Greece as being extremely violent towards women and other people but mostly women both human and their own. It is said that there were numerous myths and stories about centaurs violating women in the Greek mythology. One of these tales  refers to a Centaur by the name of Nesus who tried to rape Heracles wife Deianeira.
However, Deianeira, not only managed to defend herself from the Nesus Centaur but she was also able to kill the centaur too! In the last moments before his death, Nessus tried to excuse himself and gave the wife Deianerira a love drug that she used to seduce her husband Heracles. However, one should never trust a Centaur that is trying to rape you from a God son. The love drug was actually poison a very strong and painful one. Heracles had suffered so terribly from this poison that he decided to throw himself into the flames to die rather than to suffer the agony. of the effects of the poison. [note I really don't know what happened after that if what was the end of our beloved hero Heracles.] As for more history on the Centaurs, they were thought to carry bows & arrows and had very short tempers. I don't know if this was with both male and female of just the male after drinking to much. Also most Centaurs are said to be Good. And work against Evil. Its just a few fallen ones that fall between the cracks . So there you have the history of the Centaurs both good/bad. At the end of this post I will put a few of the images that I did find which I hope you all will enjoy.
