Gamayun Prophetic bird of Russia-
Well I really cant remember if I have done a post on
the beautiful Gamayun Prophetic bird of Russia or not, but
since I love this beautiful bird that is sometimes called bird of Paradise. I think
I will do this post once again, just in case I haven't. First of all it isn't easy to find
information on this amazing bird, but I did look hard and wide and found
some good info for you all. This beauty is the symbol of wisdom and knowledge 
and lives on an island in the east close to paradise as it is said in Russian folklore. Like the
Siren and the Alkonost, the Gamayun is normally depicted as a large bird with a woman's 
head. The Gamayun is sometimes called just THE PROPHETIC BIRD.  It very much a 
legendary creature in Russian folklore and it is said to be quite similar to the Phoenix that it to is 
immortal too. The Russians compare it to the three prophetic birds, joining Alkonost and the Sirn. Besides being the birds of wisdom and knowledge, they are a 
talking bird who can foretell the future and will tell you your fortune too. How I thought i would find
anymore on these beautiful mystical birds from Russia, but I did. Its actually

Thus was born the Cheese Mother Earth. So on Zmee she reposed. If Yusha-dragon wiggled — Mother Earth Cheese bends.

Yuki-onna Japanesse Hag Faery-

I've always been fascinated with the Myths and legends of

Yuki-onna Japanesse Hag Faery

the Japanese culture. Probably because my husband is American
Japanese and over the 20+ years we have been together I've have learned
quite a bit about the Japanese culture and legends too
The Yuki-Onna Japanesse Hag Faery is said to appear on snowy
dark nights is a tall, beautiful woman with long black hair and blue lips.
Her inhumanly pale or sometimes transparent skin make her blend into the snowy
landscape. Some say she is always in a white kimono, but there is other legends
that describe her as a nude beautiful woman, with only her face and hair standing out against the
snow. Despite her inhuman beauty, her eyes can strike terror into any mortal that see her
is said in the legends of the Yuki-oona Hag Faery. She can float across the snow leaving
no footprints. In fact some have said, who have seen, she no feet , and she can transform
into a cloud of mist or snow if felt threaten. Some of the legends say the Yuki-onna, are associated
with winter and the snowstorms. There are a spirit of someone who perished in the snow.

Yuki-onna Japanesse Hag Faery

She is at the same time beautiful and serene, yet can be also ruthless by killing unsuspecting mortals.
She was label as quite Evil till the 18th century. Although today there are storey of today that are
portraying her with a more human side, emphasizing her as an ghost-like spirit of nature and ephemeral beauty too. Although there are still many stories about the Yuki-onna that have appeared to travelers and
have used her icy breath to leave them as a frost-coated corpses. Other legends say she will
lead travelers astray so they will simply die of frozen exposure. Then there are other times the Yuki-onna
will manifest holding a small child, to trick her victims. When a well-intentioned soul takes the 'child'
from the Yuki-onna, the victim is instantly frozen in place. Parents searching for there lost children
are particularly suscrptible to this move of the Yuki-onna.
There are legend that have made these Japanese Hag

Faery even much more aggressive in ways that she has often invaded peoples homes, blowing  in their door with a huge gust of freezing wind killing all residents in their
sleep. Some of the legends requite that she be invited inside first. Kinda like the Vampric faery, with vampires the most be always invited insed first too. It is said that the Japanesse hag faery simply what
the satisfation to see a victim die and by this they will drain their victims of their life force.

Yuki-onna Succubus

She occasionally will take on the form on as a succubus-like manner,preying on the weak-willed
men  and by freeze through a kiss or sex...
Like the snow and winter weather she represents, Yuki-onna has a softer side. She sometimes
will let vitims go for a various of reason.. One popular reason was - In a Yuki-onna legend a story of a
young boy that she set free becuse of his beauty and age. She made the boy promise to never
ever to speak of her, but later in life, he tells the story to his wife who reveals herself to be the snow
woman. She reviles him for breaking his promise, but spares once again, but this time out of concern for
their children (but if he dares mistreated their children she wil return with no mercy. Luckily for him, he is a
loving father). There many other versions to this legend...So that is the legend of the

Imp Creature-

Imp Creature-
They are usually described as lively dark, shadowy creatures having small stature.

Dark Fae Imp

They are usually, but not invariably, assigned male gender,but this isn't always true.
I myself have heard of the female Imp too. These types were once a beautiful fairy go
bad of sorts or you could say gone to the dark Fae...
I got the interested in the Imp from reading these fantastic books
called FABLEHAVEN and there was a part in the story about these beautiful fairies with
the most heavenly colour type of wings you would ever see, but they went bad
for some reason that I just can't remember and turned into these horrid female Imps
like spider creatures. So I thought it would be interesting to find the Legend and
Mythology of the Imp... It is said in the legend that the Imps are the attendants of the devil and some witches that have gone to the darkside of witchcraft. Which have given many good witches all over the world a hard time over the centuries to show how caring and good people they are with the herbs and healing powers they use to help people. I've have always felt this very strongly ...
Anyway back to the story... Some have said of the Imp creatures that they are described as a pack of
Brownies, but not the typically Brownie Fairy that I've posted, that are very kind and cleanly. There is the
Japanese Imp Kappa who is often considered to be a type of water dwelling Imp > These Imps are
usually described as mischievous creatures rather than the seriously threatening kind. The Japaneses Imp Kappa are said to be a slink or skitter look to them. They tend to run from one shadow to another.

Imp Fae

In general the Imp Origins is from German Folklore, the Imp was a small lesser demon. Imps were
often mischievous rather than evil or even harmful - demons in Germanic legend were not necessarily evil-
and in some regions they were portrayed as attendants of the Gods.. [For me this is hard to believe for
myself personally for all the reading that I've done over the years of Fantasy books/ the Imp was always
portrayed as a Dark Fae].
Imps are usually small and not very attractive creatures. Their behavior is described as being wild, uncontrollable, free spirited, malicious and usually evil. They are considered to some one in the same.
It just depends on who your talking too. Many also believe that they are two very different begins too.
Fairies being good Fae and the Imps being the malicious and Evil Fae. It just depends on what you
believe. However if you think about fairies are fond of pranks and misleading mortals just as much
as your average Imp too. This is the part of the Imp that I remember in reading my Favorite books -

Dark Fae Imp

FABLEHAVEN - There was an higher power Fae that bound all the Imps that were once fairies and
this higher power contained or controlled them all to do her biding. It could also be some kinda object such
as a crystal ball what ever controls the Imps to summon them to do their bidding whether it be mischievous
or malious to Evil.
As far as the Imp's appearance it just depends on what culture & legend you are talking about.
Most Imps appear very lean stand rather tall, but not all Imps some have a tendency to hunch over
because their backs are very curved and their heads hang below their shoulders. Their bodies for most
are covered in shimmering scaly of a variety of colors, typically hues of dark reds, blues and deep green to blend into the thick forest in which they live. Typically, but not all Imps heads appear like a polished bone
like skull skin. They have small horns on their head with of course the deep reddish glowing, but this not all.
Their body's are typically bony too with long arms and legs so they can grasp and perch on the trees in
the deep forest in which they live. They also have tails but not all.

As far as how long the live, some can live for many many years some up to 400+. They are said to be
very intelligent and are attracted to any type of magic usually strong dark magic. They live in the deepest
forest of  the earth of the anienct times and of today and the Elves they are extremely rare but very loyal.
What is interesting about these creatures diet is that they don't eat food! Rather they live off of magic energy!
So essentially if they don't have a magical forest or Being the they are bound too or do their biding their will
stare and die as if it would be food.. So These creatures are very magical in that they also need to live by
the energy of magic too. So there is the Creature the call the Magick Imp. I hope you Enjoyed this very dark and Light Fae fairy or creature of the forests. I was so happy to find it myself..

A devilish small creature that is said to be the offspring of the Devil. They look like a child with horns on its head and small wings. They are also a Familiar to Witches and aid in their Black Arts. The Imp of Liconln was let loose by the Devil who appeared in the air above the town of Lindum (Lincoln). He went to a construction site of a Cathedral and made trouble.
