HUMMINGBIRDS OF MEXICO

~Hummingbirds of Mexico~
~For My Love of the Jewels of the Sky~
In this post, I am going to bring you dear
friends, readers, supporters & followers in
the beautiful world of Mexico.
For many of you, all must know
that I have a love a fair with these
tiny jewels of the sky that are from
all over the world. However they mostly
live in the warmer climates of which
I do not live at all. If you have had a look
at my blog it has my weather for a
7-day week and it has been raining and
cold since November and the flooding has
started again. But that doesn't stop my
delightful hummingbird Rosy who I just
discover is from Mexico.
He is the Anna's Hummingbird
There are many hummingbirds that come
from Mexico and migrate to the states. When

doing this post I had no idea there were so many.
There are to be exact 58 hummingbirds that
I know of. That doesn't mean that there are
more to of them. At the end of this post
I will label all the hummingbirds that I
know of that come from Mexico so
that you if you would like can check these
~jewels your self~
In the Mexico when crossing the border
it opens up an whole new world of
opportunities for the keen birdwatchers as
for the countries boasts about its 58+ species
of hummingbirds and are widely distributed over
the country of Mexico of many different habitats.
It is said during the autumn migration at
the Yucatan Peninsula receives thousands of
migrating Ruby-throats from the U.S across
the Gulf of Mexico.
The Rain-forests at Palanque is worth
exploring or a visit. Why? because of all
the variety of birds that you will see. This
includes that huge population of hummingbirds.
When you are there in these Rain-forests at
Palanque you will be lucky to see the
Stripe-tailed hummingbird
Black-crested coquette hummingbird
Purple-crowned fairy hummingbird too.
Fork-tailed emerald hummingbird
Wedge-tailed sabrewing hummingbird
These are just a few varieties that you will
see in these beautiful places in Mexico.
In the Western United States these tiny species
will move south from California to
swell even further as far as numbers
in hummingbirds to right of passage to migrate
or the over wintering birds. Which is happening
in huge rates all over the U.S. It seems that
the hummingbirds are finding that finding
kind humans that love to feed them and care
for them is much easier than flying thousands
of miles to migrate to have their baby birds.
The rich forest of Singaita near San Blas,
with all its Gumbo limbo trees & palms provide
excellent bird watching too. If you can get there
I would. There you might even
get a glimpse of the long-tail hermit hummingbird
Many other species can be found there too.
You see the land is suitable and full of woodland
area's, and flowering blooms of nectar for
the hummingbirds to feed.
It might be a bit of a search but it will be
worth the search through the woods lands
and hills around Mexico City too. Which hold
many hummingbirds too. Like that of the
Berylline hummingbird
You might even get lucky and see
the tiny Bumble Bee hummingbird .
It is very rare and many take
 some time to find.
I hope you enjoy the joys of

the Mexico Hummingbirds. There are
so many of them. I am going to put a
