Dragons~

Albanian Dragons 
1-Dreq is the Dragon (draco) proper. It was demonized by the Christianity and now is one of the Albanian
names of the devil.
2-Kulshedra its twelfth year, the bolla evolves by growing nine tongues, horns, spines and large wings.
At this time it will learn how to use its formerly hidden fire-breathing abilites, and is not called a kulshedra or
a kucedra (hudra). The kucedra causes droughts and lives of human sacrifices. Kulshedras are
killed by Drangue, the Albanian winged warriors with their supernatureal powers.
Thunderstorms are conceived as battles beween the drangues and the kulshedras.
3-Bolla-In the Albanian Mythology Bolla which is also known as Bullar in South Albania, is a type
of Serpentic Dragon or Even a Demonic type Dragon-like Creature with a long coiled Serpentine body
Four legs and Small wings in Ancient Albanian Folklore. This dragon sleeps throughout the whole year,
only to awake on Saint George's Day - where its faceted  Silver eyes peer into the World.
The Bolla Dragon does this until he sees a human. Once he sees that human it will devour that human,
then close his silver eyes and sleeps again. The Bolla was worshiped as the deity Boa by the ancestors of
the Albanians, Illyrians. The Bolla also appears in the Coat of arms of the House of Bua Shpata.
Asturian & Leonese Dragons- In Asturias and Leon Mythology the Cuelebres were Giant Winged
Serpents which lived in caves where they would guard treasures and kidnapped Xanas. These type of
Serpent dragons can live for centuries and when they grow really old they use their wings to fly.
Their breath is poisonous and they often will kill cattle to eat.
Chuvash Dragons- These Dragons represent the Pre-Islamic Mythology of the same Region.
Romanian Dragons- These Dragons are called Balaur which are very similar to the Slavic - a very large,
with fins and have multple heads.
Siberian Dragons- These Dragons are related to the European Turkic and Slavic Dragons
Armenian Dragons- Are Related to the European Dragons
Slavic Dragons- These Dragons are very Similar to the conventional European Dragon, but they have
multi-headed. They breathe fire and or leave fiery wakes as they fly. In Slavic and related traditons, dragons
Symbolize Evil. Specific dragons are often given Turkic names, symbolizing the long-standing conflict
between the Slavs and Turks. However, in Serbian and Bulgarian folklore, dragons are defenders of the
crops in their homes regions, fighting against a destructive demon Ala whom they shoot with lighting.
Sarkany Dragons- These dragons are in a dragon human form. Most of them are Giants with multiple
heads. Their strength is held in their heads. They become gradually weaker as they lose their heads. In
contemporary Hungarian the word Sarkany is used to mean all kinds of dragons.
Zomok Dragons- This is a Giant winged snake like dragon, which is in fackt a full-grown zomok. It often 
serves as flying mount of the garaboncias a kinda magician. The Sarkanykigyo rules over storms and bad 
weather.
The Worm Hill Dragon- In 700AD the Anglo-Saxons Settled and called it 'Wruenele'this translates as
the Wruen worm reptile or Dragon. According to the local folklore the hill at the Knotlow was the lair of a 
dragon and the terraces around it was made by his coils of his tail. Knotlow is an ancient Volcanic vent 
and may explain the myth.
Welsh Dragons- In the Welsh Mythology after a long battle which the Welsh King Vortigern witnesses - 
a Red Dragon defeats a White Dragon: Merlin Esplains to Vortigern that the Red Dragon symbolizes the 
Welsh and the White Dragon Symbolizes the Saxons -thus Foretelling the ultimate defeat of the English by the Welsh.
Scandinavian & Germanic Dragons- Lindworms are serpent-like dragons with either two or no legs.
In Nordic and Germanic Heraldry, the Lindworm looks the same as a Wyvern dragon. The Dragon Fafnir
was a Lindworm.
 Sardinian Dragons- These dragons are named 'scultone' or Ascultone' and will appear in legends in 
Sardinia Italy. They had the power to kill a human with its gaze eyes/ Its much like that of a basilisk they live
in the bush and are immortal.
Catalan Dragon- These Dragons are Serpant like creatures with two legs (rarely four) and sometimes have
a pair of wings. Their faces can resemble that of other animals like that of lions or even cattle. They have a 
burning breathe too. And their breath is also poisonous, the reason by which dracs are able to rot everything with their stench. A vibria is a female dragon.

Brass Dragon

Brass Dragon-

A Brass Dragon High Up on a
Rock in the High Desert

For today's post I am going to bring you to the Sandy desert regions of the Brass dragons. Yes for my Love for the Dragon! I give you the Brass Dragon! These Dragons love the Sandy desert regions much like that of the Yellow Dragons which I have done a post on them  too. These Dragons crave the sunlight and dry heat, so naturally the desert would be their prefer place to live. These Brass dragons like to make their lairs in the high rocky caves in the hot Savannah's and other similar areas of the deserts. They will also make their lairs in very steep mountains that are in the deserts of the face of canyon walls preferably, so they can enjoy the morning sun. This way they don't have to go to far to enjoy the sunny bathe which these brass dragons do love their sunny. And the morning sun is their favorite. The way that these Brass dragons have place their lairs on the steep canyons walls of the hot Savannah's it is very is for them to spot an intruder. These dragons love to spend hours lying on the rocks hidden high up on the rock sunning themselves. I also discovered that the Brass dragon will live in places that have a seasonal conditions like that of a temperate forest that sees very little or any rainfall in the summertime. These Desert lovers  will also reside in sllch lands either to migrate to a warmer climate or to retreat to subterranean lairs during the cool and rainy months of the year. As far as the Brass dragons scales, at birth they have a dull, motted brown look at birth. As they get a bit older, their scales will become more brassy until they reach a warm, burnished look. As they get into the more hundred age years a more brassy and luster look. These dragons have a faint acrid odor reminiscent of hot oiled metal to them. There is also a prominent head crest that is in the shape of a plowshare that distinguishes the Brass dragons his cousin

Brass Dragon Enjoy the Morning Sun

dragons.  They are quite large in size up to 30 feet in length. Very Intelligent too. The one thing that I found that is different about the Brass dragon to most of the dragon is their placid curiosity and the fact that these dragons are the most talkative of all the dragons I have written so far... It seems that they are slow to anger too; which is odd for a dragon is some ways. Even in battle the brass dragons are rarely cruel or even vengeful. In fact they frequently will allow beaten enemies to retreat instead of either killing or eating. However, these dragons are still dragon! so they are still conceited, proud, touchy creatures. Like other dragons, the Brass Dragons will take offense at rude or disrespectful behavior. But since these dragons love to TALK! if an other dragon might lash out in anger, the brass dragon would probably just break of the conversation and just leave. But you must remember he/she is a dragon so if one persisted well you know what I mean! And they never take sides that always say For Me! And maybe put their cone breathe sleeping gas on them. They also have a billowing cloud of gas that causes fear and of course Fire breathe too. Since the Brass dragon lives in a area which is mostly without or no water, they can survive with almost no water. They typically hunt  with their wings over the high cliffs canyons of the deserts. These dragons are quite different I found when it came to their treasure; true they love precious gems but they are very fond of bone, stones too.Odd Eh! Finally I found that the Brass Dragons seemed to have many Friends~ with that of Sphinxes; Wizards; Elves and other dragons but the Brown dragons. I found the brass dragon to be an mostly friendly and kind dragon. I hope you all Enjoyed my Post on the Brass Dragon ..

Fire Dragons-2013

The Fire Dragon~

Today I thought I would do, the not so friendly Fire Dragon. Unlike the White & Silver Dragons who are friendly toward the humans. The the fire dragons are probably the worst of them all, even the Green dragon that I did about 4 weeks ago. Besides being a very unfriendly dragon, these fire dragons are the rarest of the three species - Draco flameus. 
History of the Fire Dragon~   
These dragons are virtually unknown probably do to the fact that they live inside active volcanoes and their natural surrounding are the great rivers of lava and fiery caverns in the belly of the earth. In their world of fire and incandescent molten rock this is where the (father) fire dragon dwells. This is where courtship and mating takes place. Interesting mating in a volcano... Well that's a dragon for ya! Apparently this is also where the fire dragons have their rituals too.
Fire dragons spend their infancies in theses suffocating surroundings, only venturing outside when reaching maturity and only for brief hunting expeditions. These nocturnal creatures, usually sadly forth enveloped in the flames when darkness reigns, but only if the weather is very dry and the sky is clear. Water and humidity are a great threat to these great creatures since these elements can cause a disease caused by scale corrosion, which is a fatal  and very painful in all Red - fire dragons. This horrible disease will cause the dragons scales to flake off slowly at first from the dragons body, then coming off in large quantities at a time. This then leaves the dragon very sensitive skin exposed and vulnerable. This exposure not only causes dreadful burns, that is produced from the red hot lava, but also total dehydration too.
 On their excursions into the outside world. Fire dragons set vast expanses of land a flame, scorching everything in their path. They avidly devour the charred remaids of many animals left in the ashes.
The life style of the Fire Dragon~  

The fire dragons mouth breathe fire, which is formed from a mixture of Phosphorus and methane which is produced and stored in a second stomach of these dragons. Then the mixture ignites on contact with the oxygen immediately after it leaves the dragons mouth. 
The Fire dragons favorite food is composed of hydrocarbons such as oil and bitumen which it consumes in huge quantities. They also use these substances to clean and shine their scaly armor an occupation to which fire dragons devote many hours - in taking great care of every single scale and are always on the look-out for any suspicious looking blemishes on any of their scales. Now this is not a question of vanity in the case of the Fire dragon. Although there are a bit vain and conceited at times. This is strictly do to what I was talking about earlier in this blog about the fire dragons dreadful disease - that they can get from water and high humidity area's called - scale corrosion, which is fatal. So you can see why the fire dragon would take, much of his life time taking care of his armor or his scales. 
His scales, which cover him head to tail are made up of a type of metal and asbestos. The scales of the fire dragon can range from a wide variety - from bright golden yellow to red, copper and black. These iridescent type scales are the dragons only from of protection against their fiery breathe when they belt out those fiery breathe.  When they do, the fire will consume their body. So this is the reason why they take such care of their armor. Makes since to me! There is alot more to the fire dragon then I thought, when I first started reading and researching about the fire dragons. I found this part about their scales fascinating and how such a dragon that is  portrayed  as a evil dragon to be humble in a weird kinda way. 
Areas of Sighting of the Fire Dragon~  
It has been reported that dragons of this species used to be abundant in the volcanoes of Iceland. They would venture as far as Ireland and Northern Britain too. In Italy a small colony of this charming species of dragons has survived in Sicily. These mysterious but fascinating beast have large families of servant made up of mainly of salamanders and other igneous creatures.

I have always loved and been fascinated with dragons whether they be good or evil. I believe in my heart that there are dragons that still exist today, it's just that they are hidden deeply in the un-touched forest and deep caverns of the earth... Wendy

The Copper Dragon, For my Love for the Dragon! I hope you all will Enjoy

this most Interesting Dragon as all the dragons that I’ve Posted.

History of the Copper Dragon-

I found that these dragons have some different aspects than their cousins do. For example; The Copper Dragons are huge six legged Beasts. They usually live in very warm desert climates or in caverns, that are usually very elaborate underneath the desert ground. The Copper dragons are very intelligent creatures, who enjoy testing other creatures on their own intelligence with either riddles or jokes, but their favorite is Riddles. You must be very careful if you ever run across a Copper Dragon and he wants to play a game of Riddles, be warned-

The Copper Dragon Always Wins! The Game of Riddles! Then you can only guess what happen next! Even though they are known to be good natured dragons, they will guard their wealth very closely. Which is usually in huge caverns under the great hot deserts of the world. You probably would never guess this one for a dragon, but the Copper dragons are great jumpers and climber. Their diet is a little different too. They will eat almost anything, but their favorite food source is giant scorpions. So it makes you think how big those scorpions got in ancient times? And what do you think these Grand Dragons eat Now!

Physical-

These dragons are quite striking with their warm coppery scales and a tinge of blue within each of the copper scales as the become

adult dragons. Like the Brass Dragon, the Copper Dragon’s winds are connected to its body all the way to the tip of its tail. As I have mentioned before in my brief history of the Copper Dragon, these creatures are powerful jumpers and climbers with their powerful massive thigh and shoulder muscles in all their limbs.

Their two horns are broad and flat that sits on their head, which are pointing backwards to the tail from the top of their heads. They also have a distinctive frill that protrudes from either jaw. So when their mouth is closed, their very sharp teeth are completely hidden,but will exude a stony Oder, which is very strong and nasty.

These Dragons prefer to avoid combat if possible,but if they have to they would rather fight opening or taunt,humiliate and tease

their opponents until they simply give up the battle at hand.This is how the Copper Dragon has gotten his name as being a huge tease or a joker at times. Even in Battle. Although if a Copper Dragon is forced in Battle , he/she will fight  to the very End! And it is very incredibly devious and antagonist too when it comes to battles and winning too. This is when These dragons will use their Breath weapon usually.

Breath Weapons-

The Copper dragon has two types of breath weapons that he can use in battle.

The First is the Acid Breath which will blind and then dissolved its attacker or prey.

The Second is the is a Cone Sleeping Gas, It is used to knock out his/her attackers or prey. [The Cone Sleeping gas can slowly cramp up all the muscles of anyone within the Cone Sleeping Gas, once that happens, he/she is helpless both in sleep and movement].

Lair-

The lair of the Copper dragon is that of a cave, but its entrance is concealed

by many enormous rocks and boulders. Basically, you will find yourself in a huge labyrinth of tunnels. The Copper Dragons are among the most of all their cousins that can complete his most confusing caverns with such complex labyrinths within them. If a friendly visitor which was usually human or a lost Elf, became hopelessly loss in one of these confusing labyrinths caverns [which in ancient times it was rather common] the copper dragon would actually rescue these friendly visitors.

It was if a visitor found himself deeper inside the tunnels where the dragons

treasure or young dragons were where the danger lay. This is when the Dragon isn’t so friendly you could say. How if the visitor finds themselves in a enormous spacious foyer, beyond which is the main entertaining Chamber, which is where the dragon spend most of its time! There is doom for anyone that gets that far into the Coppery Dragons lair, unless he happens to be in a forgiving mood that day. They are said to be good natured Dragons, and considered to be very polite too. So one never will really know what happens in his Chambers with lost souls so long ago.

As for now in the preside times, I really don’t think the Coppey dragons would be as good natured and as polite toward the human race, and this is my own option. I feel this way because of what has happen in the last 30years on our Great Blue Planet/ Mother Earth. Its not so much Blue Mother Earth, as it was 30years ago. Also the problems of War/hatred and lack of concern for  our Mother Earth I feel has a great deal to do with the Fae Creatues of the magic world too. The Dragons, where they might be now!, one really never knows, that includes My fairies and Elves too. I do know that they are still here but in a different form as for the fairies and maybe the /Elves this I do not know for sure. As for the dragons I believe they are in deep deep hiding. And really, don’t come out, only in the darkest of nights. I believe it has a lot to do with us over population of our Earth. I just had to put my option sometimes my dear friends and followers I hope you will understand. Love you all-ooo)

Parenting-

The Copper dragons take part both in their young raising. Both mother and

father are very much part of their baby eggs and to the time it is for the young dragon to go on their own. These Copper Dragons will stay together until that time comes, from the eggs are laid in the sand, to when they hatch. Then during the process of hatching , both of the parents will take turns watching over their eggs until they hatch. When the newly hatched eggs do hatch the call their baby dragons wyrmling until they get to be juvenile dragons. Their scales will have a muddy brown in colour of

which will gradually shift to a glowing copper with the hints of the beautiful deep blue just like their parents. Young copper dragons or juvenile dragons will start with a rusty brown color on their scales before their scales turn the beautiful coppery color. All the coppery Dragons have the most Beautiful turquoise Blue Eyes.

Black Dragons - Legend/Myth

Black Dragons
The Black dragon has a particular form of element that is based on their natural element that allows

them to adapted to any environment they choose that they are in based on the special natural element they have which is - (Energy)

History~
These Black creatures of the night are part of the Earth Element family dragons-
They say that they are the most civilized race of the black dragons. Which make me believe that there are more than one type of species of the Black Dragon. I just haven't found they other Yet! But until then. Here is the history of this particular Black dragon.
For the black dragons of the East - Black is a Chaotic color  too. These dragons are said to cause lighting storms when they are fighting. 
Deathwings-
These dragons are said to be Pure Evil.  The Deathwing is one of the fiercest and most evil creatures

in existence today. He has destroyed many ancient cities and often makes deals with intelligent races, trading members of his own dragon flight crew for slaves and humans. And other interests in conceal different worlds. 

  Appearance~
They say that that the Black Dragons are cruel with callous looking features, almost serpentine looking for some of these dark dragons. 
The Black Dragons are quite large, thickly built with a massive chest and long, sensuous necks. 
It's hide is a rich and lustrous black with large scales that are supple yet hard as lava stones.

Black dragons do not shed individual scales, but rather molt once a year-
Usually by spending a week resting within a lava flow of an active volcano, which will peel off and consumes their discard skin, The skin of a black dragon nearing its molted grows dull grey.
Most Male- Black Dragons appear with their horns and wings in a shade of a orange or brown. 
Most Female- Black Dragons are black with their horns and wings being a purplish in color. 
But this isn't always the rule! There are some Black Dragons that are Black from head to tail. These dragons are using called Deathwings.

A crest made of peaked bone spikes run from its head down it back all the way down to his enormous tail. And those bristles that run down his entire back to his tail, well when the great beast gets angry all of those spikes will pop out.

His fangs shine a coppery red and deep inside its massive jaws is a constant sulphurous light that emits a faint glow.
Some  say that the Black Dragon has the most powerful breathe of the world-

So strong that they can create and sustain Blue and White flames. There are very few dragons of the race that have ever been able to do this- 
They are also very resident. Their ability to pull pure energy from their surroundings allows them to survive where other dragons would not. There is a rumor that there essence turns into pure energy 
when they succumb to a fatal blow or die at an very old age.  

Element Power of Energy in their Environment~
These Black dragons can transform the Energy they gather from the relationships between the living

things that surround them and translate it into a particular effectively spells. They are also expert at deception and hiding, which is why they are seldom found. If they desire to remain hidden from prying eyes of other dragon kin or even human or elves's - their abilities extend to objects which can leave their lairs and the items of value extremely difficult to locate.  

My Thoughts on the Black Dragon~ 
Black dragons are thought to be the most evil of all the other dragon race that I've have done. and I believe this will be true because of a number of reasons. 1) They have a deceptive way of doing things and are often doing these thing to meet their own needs. 
They are know as the Plight of the Land. Meaning they usually and are loathed by the people they live near. 2) When you think about it, Black Dragons are like the undead - And considered evil 
simply because of their color.
3) Black is know as a color of evil typically. It represents dark and the chaotic too. These dragons are also known for clearly not like being in the open and are great a hiding in dark planes or cave etc. Which clearly has given their name as the dark dragons.

But to sum this up in my own opinion. I believe that the dark dragon or Black dragons are evil . Even with all this with the color. It doesn't really matter.
