DRAKON DRAGONS-

DRAKON DRAGONS-
DRAKON DRAGON OF THE PLAINS
AND ELEPHANT
GOOD DAY MY DEAR FRIENDS & FOLLOWERS I FOUND ANOTHER DRAGON FOR YOU ALL. YEAH! SO, THIS DRAGON IS FROM INDIA AND IS CALLED THE DRAKONES INDIKOI. THIS BREED OF DRAGON WAS OF A GIGANTIC TOOTHED DRAGON-SERPENTS WHICH HUNTED THE ELEPHANTS OF INDIA BACK IN THE ANCIENT TIMES. IN INDIA, IT WAS SAID THAT THE ELEPHANT AND THE DRAGON [DRAGON-SERPENT] WERE VERY BITTER ENEMIES. HOW THE STORY WENT ABOUT THE TWO VERY LARGE BEAST IS THIS; WHEN EVER AN ELEPHANT WENT TO DRAW DOWN THE BRANCHES OF THE TREES TO FEED THIS IS WHEN THE DRAKONES WOULD ATTACK, KNOWING THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT TIME OF ATTACK. SO THESE DRAKONES DRAGONS WOULD CAREFULLY AND QUIETLY CRAWL UP THE TREES WHERE THESE ELEPHANTS WOULD DRAWN DOWN THE BRANCHES TO EAT THE LEAVES FROM THEM. HOWEVER, THEY WOULD HAVE ENVELOP THEIR LOWER HALF OF THEIR BODIES IN THE FOLIAGE OF THE TREES AND THE UPPER PORTION OF THE DRAKONS WOULD EXTENDED TO THEIR HEAD ALLOWED THEM TO HANG LOOSELY LIKE A ROPE. NOTE THESE WERE CALLED THE PLAINS DRAKONS DRAGONS AND WERE USUALLY A BLUEISH IN COLOR. IT WAS KINDA SAD IN AWAY HOW THE DRAKONES WOULD KILL THE ELEPHANTS, BUT THEN AGAIN IT WAS IN THE ANCIENT TIMES AND THEY WERE THE ONLY SORT OF FOOD FOR THEIR HUGE APPETITE FOR THESE ENORMOUS DRAKONES. SO WHAT THEY WOULD DO IS HANG IN THE TREE HIDING & WAITING FOR AN ELEPHANT TO APPROACH, SOMETIMES MANY HOURS. AS SOON AS THE TREES MAKES THAT SOUND FROM ONE OF THE BRANCHES, THE DRAKON WOULD SPRING INTO ACTION BY GORGING THE EYES OUT OF THE ELEPHANT FIRST. THEN THE DRAKON WOULD WIND AROUND THE HELPLESS ELEPHANT, THAT IS NOW BLIND AROUND HIS NECK AND THEN AS IT CLINGS TO THE TREE WITH THE LOWER PART OF ITS BODY THE DRAKON SLOWLY TIGHTENS ITS GRIP WITH THE UPPER PART AND STRANGLES THE ELEPHANT WITH AN UNUSUAL SINGULAR NOOSE. QUITE AMAZING IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT. TO BE ABLE TO LIFT AND STRANGLE AN HUGE ELEPHANT. BUT FROM WHAT I FOUND THESE PLAIN DRAKON DRAGONS WERE VERY STRONG, AND HAD GREAT LENGTH TOO. IT WAS SAID THAT IN VERY ANCIENT TIMES OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT THERE WAS TWO PLAIN DRAKONS THAT MEASURED UP TOO - ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY CUBITS LONG AND THE OTHER WAS EIGHTY CUBITS LONG. THEY WERE CALLED THE SUPER-DRAKON-DRAGONS OF THEIR TIME THAT ONCE LIVED IN INDIA.
FOR A BIT MORE ON THE HISTORY OF THE DRAKONES PAST, I DID FIND THEY WERE LARGE BUT, NOT AS LONG AS THE PLAINS DRAKON-DRAGONS OF ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY CUBIT LONG OR AT LEAST AS FAR AS I COULD FIND.
THE DRAKONES ENORMOUS SIZE IS SAID TO NOT ONLY FILL THE MARSH LANDS AND MOUNTAINS, BUT THERE ISN'T AND SINGLE RIDGE WITHOUT ONE OF THESE CREATURES. IT IS SAID THAT THE MARSH KIND OF DRAKON ARE A BIT SLUGGISH IN THEIR HABITS AND ARE ONLY THIRTY CUBITS LONG. THEY HAVE NO CREST UPON THEIR HEADS, HOWEVER IN THIS RESPECT THEY RESEMBLE THE DRAKAINAI A SHE-DRAGON-SERPENT. THEIR BACKS HOWEVER ARE VERY BLACK IN COLOUR, WITH FEWER SCALES ON THEM THAN YOUR TYPICAL DRAGON. THE DRAKONES WOULD LIVE ALONG THE FOOTHILLS AND THE MOUNTAINS CRESTS MAKING THEIR WAY INTO THE PLAINS TO THEIR PRAY UPON THE CREATURES IN THE MARSHES TO FEED UPON.
MOUNTAIN DRAKON-DRAGON
INDEED OVER TIME, THEY WILL REACH EXTREME LENGTHS AND WILL BE ABLE TO MOVE VERY-VERY FAST IN THE SWIFTEST RIVERS OF INDIA. IT WAS SAID IN THOSE ANCIENT TIMES, NOTHING COULD ESCAPE THEIR GRASPS ONCE THE DRAKON HAD A HOLD OF THEM. THESE DRAKON'S HAD A LARGE CREST UPON THEIR HEADS, JUST LIKE THAT OF ANY OTHER DRAGON. HOWEVER, IT WAS MODERATELY SMALL IN WEIGHT AND HEIGHT WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG DRAKONS. BUT WHEN THEY REACH THEIR FULL SIZE, THEIR CREST GROWS WITH THEM AND EXTENDED TO A CONSIDERABLE HEIGHT AT WHICH TIME ALSO THEY TURN RED AND GOT SERRATED BACKS. THEY ALSO HAVE THESES BEARDS ON THEIR CHINS YOU COULD SAY. THEY COULD BE OF MANY DIFFERENT COLORS OR JUST ONE COLOR. AND WHEN THEY LIFT THEIR LONG NECKS HIGH INTO THE SKY THEIR SCALES WILL GLITTER LIKE SILVER. THEIR EYES CONSIST OF A FIERY STONE SUBSTANCE, WHICH IS ODD. HOW DOES ONE SEE WITH STONE LIKE EYES? IT IS ALSO SAID, THAT THEY HAVE AN UNCANNY POWER FOR MANY SECRET PURPOSES. THE DRAKONES OF THE MOUNTAINS HAVE THESE BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN DRAKONS AND THEIR EYES ARE MORE SUNK DEEP UNDER THEIR EYEBROWS WHICH EMITS A TERRIBLE AND RUTHLESS GLANCE, THAT NO ONE WOULD WANT TO BE AROUND TO SEE OR BE SEEN.
SCALES WITH BUSHY BEARDS THAT ALSO HAVE A GOLDEN HUE. IT SEEMS THEIR EYEBROWS ARE MORE PROMINENT THAN THOSE OF THE PLAINS DRAKONS DRAGONS. THESE MOUNTAIN DRAKONS ALSO EXCEL IN LENGTH FAR MORE THAN THEIR COUSIN OF THE PLAINS DRAKONS. THESE MOUNTAIN DRAKONS CAN GIVE OFF AND NOISE LIKE THE CLASHING OF AND BRASS BAND WHENEVER THEY ARE BURROWING UNDER THE EARTH AND FROM THEIR CRESTS, WHICH ARE ALL FIERY RED THERE FLASHES A FIRE BRIGHTER THAN A TORCH. ELEPHANTS, WELL THEY ARE THEIR FAVORITE SOURCE OF FOOD, WHICH IS HARD FOR ME BECAUSE I LOVE BOTH THE DRAGON/DRAKON AND ELEPHANTS AS WELL. SO IT WAS KINDA HARD TO DO THIS POST. HOWEVER, I KNEW THAT IT WOULD COME UP AT SOME POINT THAT THE TWO CREATURES WOULD COME TOGETHER IN AN POST. SO AS I SAID THE DRAKONS ARE VERY GOOD AT CATCHING ELEPHANTS. HOWEVER IN THE SAME WAY THEY TO WERE CAUGHT THEMSELVES CAUGHT BY THE INDIANS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER;
THEY EMBROIDER GOLDEN RUNES ON AN SCARLET CLOAK, WHICH THEY WOULD LAY IN FRONT OF THE ANIMALS (ELEPHANTS MOSTLY) BURROWS AFTER CHARMING THEM TO SLEEP WITH THE RUNES; FOR THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO OVERCOME THE EYES OF THE DRAKON.....
THEY SAY THAT THE PLAINS DRAKON DRAGONS SOMETIMES WILL FALL PREY
AS THE PRIZE FOR HUNTERS OF INDIA WHENEVER IT PREYS UPON AN ELEPHANT,
WHY? BECAUSE OF THE WAY IT WRAPS AROUND THE PREY WHEN IT KILL IT TO
FEED. THE PLAINS DRAKON DRAGON WILL END-UP BEING THE
DESTRUCTION OF BOTH CREATURES ( ELEPHANT & DRAKON-DRAGON) AND
THOSE WHO CAPTURES THE DRAKONS ARE REWARDED BY
GETTING THE DRAKONS EYES, TEETH AND SKIN. THESE ARE QUITE
VALUABLE TO THE INDIAN FOLKS.
IN THE INDIAN FOLKLORE THEY SAY THAT THESE CREATURES
RESEMBLE LIONS BOTH IN SIZE AND STRENGTH, BUT HAVING THE
ADVANTAGE THAT THEY HAVE WING SO THEY CAN ATTACK
BETTER FROM THE SKYS TO GET THEIR FAVORITE PREY THE ELEPHANT.
I HOPE THAT YOU ALL ENJOYED THE POST ON
THE DRAKON DRAGON MY DEAR FRIENDS AND FOLLOWERS
I LOVE YOU ALL MY DEARS AND HOPE YOU ALL HAVE
A GREAT WEEK AHEAD HUGSSSSSS

TipsFromtheGarden-HowtoUseaDutchOven-

TipsFromtheGarden~
HowtoUseaDutchOven~

Good Day to you all my dears Friends And Followers, I know that
I haven't been around for a few days but not to worry. I have taken my
Needed brake that I always take in the winter months.
But even though I do take my winter brake I still will be doing
My Saturday TipsFromtheGarden Always!
So for this Saturday we are going to cover How to use a Dutch Oven!
If you are curious which I hope some of you are!
I had did a post a little while ago on how to treat you cast-iron pans
so I thought I would do a post on how to use them.
1. First to Prepare the Fire for your Dutch Oven
If you have a campfire going, move any large pieces that

might still been burning to the side and level out your hot
coals to fit the size of the dutch oven. If the campground
doesn't allow wood fires, burn about 50 charcoal briquets till
they're mostly gray, to 15 minutes. Then spread into an even
Layer the size of the dutch oven that you own.
2. Setting up the Dutch Oven
For many recipes, you just set the dutch oven on top
of the hot coals (bottom heat cooking). But there are times
when you'll need to heat both the top and the bottom of the
Dutch Oven. Just scrape about half the coals to the side and
arrange the rest in a circle, basically the size of your Dutch Oven's
outer edge. Set the oven on top of the circle of coals, then pile
the rest that you have side aside on the top of the lid.
3. Start Cooking
Note a 4-qt cast-iron camp dutch oven is a basic one to start with.

Lift the dutch-oven lid occasionally to check on your food and temperature.
To decrease the heat, just scrape away some of the fuel that you
have on top of you dutch oven! To increase the Heat, or to cook
longer than 45 minutes just add 6 to the 10 new briquets or more wood
embers(from that still-burning wood you had moved to the side of your firepit, every
30- minutes.
Well these are the directions to how you use the dutch oven.
if you going camping and the traditional way but of course
not ever body can do it that way. So I am going to give you
The way you can use it in you oven inside too.
The Dutch oven is  a heavy Pot with a very Heavy lid, traditionally
Always made from cast iron but sometimes it can be made of steel.
It makes a terrific stew on camping trips but you can also use it
On your oven and make so much more!
Before you ever use your dutch oven inside or even camping,
be sure to season your cast-iron as you would a cast-iron frying pan or
Any type of cast-iron product.
Using the Dutch Oven on the Stove - Can work quite well,
ONE VERSION ON AN
CONVENTIONAL OVEN

particularly good on the top of your stove which could be either electric or
gas. Why? Because it works well for receipts that need long simmers,
ANOTHER VERSION ON A
CONVENTIONAL OVEN

Such as your stews, and chili's.
Another Great Reason for using the Dutch Oven of the
Conventional oven is - they will retain the heat much more evenly, so your
Roasts, cornbread and casseroles will work very well.
Even though you can cook your dutch ovens on your stoves at home
they were originally designed to cook on the campfires and still work
great for this purpose. The cast iron is recommended for the outdoor use,
as other post have a tendency to have soot or scald marks afterwards. By using
the Dutch oven on a grill or even directly on low coals, you can even build up
LARGE RANGE OF TRADITIONAL
DUTCH OVENS

the coals around the pot without worrying about the pot being damage or the food
being contaminated. The dutch oven can really handle the heat, you can
even put coals on the lid to speed cooking up, but you must be careful
To clean them off before checking the food inside.
This pot ware was made to handle this kinda ware because
it was for our for-fathers as they didn't have the comforts of
the home ovens. They live on the land and mostly camped.
Cleaning your dutch oven You really never clean it in the why you might think,
The Cast-iron should never be cleaned with a DETERGENT! IT SHOULD BE
CLEANING

CLEANED ONLY WITH A SCOURING BRUSH OR STEEL WOOL WITHOUT THE SOAP.
IF YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE A TEFLON-COATED OR OTHER MODERN COATED
DUTCH OVEN BE SURE TO AVOID SCRAPING THE COATING.

Before I leave you on this post I thought I would give you two
traditional dutch oven recipes
-Sausage and bean dutch-oven stew-
servers 6 cooks 1hour
2 cans (15.5oz size) each cannellini beans
Chickpeas(garbanzos), drained and rinsed.
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary leaves
1/2 each read and yellow bell peppers, sliced
1 poblano chile, sliced
4 medium garlic cloves, chopped
11/2 lbs cooked Italian sausages, such as
Saag's or Aidells, cut into 1-inch chunks
1/4 cup fresh oregano leaves
1-Prepare fire as directed above or on your conventional stove
Mix ingredients except for oregano with with 3/4 cup water in a
4 to 6 qt cast-iron dutch oven . Then Cover.
2-Arrange coals for bottom heat cooking and cook
or arrange the conventional stove and cook. Checking pot and stirring
every 10 to 15 minutes  and adding more water if stew gets dry,
and till all the peppers soften and sausages swell up too. it should be
about 30 to 45 min. Serve with oregano sprinkled on top.

-Dutch-oven Peach Cobbler -
2-lbs. frozen peaches, thawed
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar, divided
1 cup pancake Mix ( Any pancake mix you like in a box mix)
1/4 cup butter , cut into 1/8 inch pieces
1 large egg
 sweetened whipped cream
1-Prepare fire as directed above or on your conventional stove
Mix peaches, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup sugar in a 4 to 6 qt cast iron
dutch oven.
2-stir pancake mix, butter, egg, and remaining 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup water
in a medium bowl to make a thick and chunky batter. Drop 4 evenly spaced heaping
spoonfuls over the peaches in the dutch oven and then cover.
3-Arrange coals for top and bottom heat cooking and cook
checking every 10 mins. until batter is puffed, firm and starting to brown.
should take about 20, to 25 minutes  serve portions with whipping cream
In a conventional oven I would bake at 350 degrees and keep and eye on it
checking it so that it doesn't burn.

MORRIGAN THE RED ~ CELTIC GODDESS OF WAR ~ PEACE AND FERTILITY

MORRIGAN THE RED ~ CELTIC GODDESS OF WAR ~ PEACE AND FERTILITY-
Despite her fearsome aspects about her and what most people in ancient Celtic times thought about
The Goddess Morrigan the Red ~ She did have a side to her that most didn't know.
As everybody knows The Morrigan has a very fearsome bite you could say...
But she does have a soft side too!
She appears in legend as a Irish hero - Cuchulainn as a red hair beauty in a high -bronze chariot.
In this Irish legend she offers Cuchulainn the Irish hero her horse and cattle, all the bounty of her kingdom and also her LOVE! as well!!!
The Irish Hero Cuchulainn turns the Mighty Morrigan away.
By saying,"That he was too busy with war to be concerned with the backside of a woman!"
You could only image what the Goddess Morrigan's reaction was in those ancient times. Being turned down by an Irish King and being called a simple woman - when all know she is a powerful Goddess the Morrigan Red.
If only I could have seen the fire that was in her eyes when the Irish warrior king had said,'The backside of a woman', to her!
Well you Could only image how she reacted by defining her and disdaining her gifts too! he didn't know it but he would find out very soon that he just brought his death sentence to himself all on his own by his action toward the Goddess.
So this is one side of the Goddess Morrigan .
Now lets look at her in a very different way~
Peace and Fertility~
The Morrigan also show her fair face after the second Battle of Moyture between the Tuatha De' Danann and the Fomorians. Then having incited the former during the fighting she proclaimed the resultant peace with the same enthusiasm, by climbing up hills and mountains. Then announcing it in a paean praise for the land and all her people.
"I PROCLAIM PEACE, PEACE THAT  STRETCHES TO THE SKY; THAT LIES UPON THE EARTH UNDER THE SKY. I
CALL UP STRENGTH IN EVERY MAN AND
WOMAN-THAT THEIR CUP WILL BRIM WITH
FULLNESS OF SWEET HONEY.''
In the Earliest story in which she is depicted as the consort of the Dagda, the "Good God''. In an account of their coupling over the river unius, she is seen in her life -giving aspect as the Queen of Fertility. In This Respect, Perhaps Surprisingly, she is linked with the Brightest Goddess in the Cannon, one who may possibly also have been her daughter, The Sun Goddess Brigid and the
Morrigan Fair Face.
As you know the Morrigan has been known by many names, throughout Ireland, Britain and Wales. Some of these name were that of Morrigu; Morgain; Morgan and the name that most know is THE MORRIGAN.  Besides
many different names she has also been given many
different titles as well. Some of these included; the Lady of the Lake; the Goddess of Water & Magick. So other titles were! the Phantom Queen, the Goddess of War, Fate and Death, the Goddess of Battle, Strife, Fertility, Moon Goddess, the Queen of the Fairies, the Goddess of Rivers, Lakes and Fresh Waters, the Patroness, Priestesses and finally the Witch. There were people who
both fear her and admire her at the same time. and was the right thing and proper thing
Too do in the time of Morrigan Fae Why? because of the amazing power the goddess had as the Morrigan the Red - the Celtic Goddess of War  and so many other titles like that of Peace and Fertility too. The Goddess Morrigan had been associated with many things, including revenge, in the nigh with magick and prophecy. She had also, on a occasion been associated with female energy and with the immense strength with which it can come bursting forth with no warning at all to anyone around her.
One of the main things that the Morrigan is noted for is being seen frequently depicted
standing on the battlefield holding two spears and it was well known that she used her magick as a way of gaining victory in battle on the war - rather than by fighting the battles to win a war.  One of her very special tricks of magick that she could do was that of shape-shifting. She could even choose what she would take form into. Two of her favorites were that of the
raven or a crow. and if you look in her history she depicted many times with either the raven or the crow. She  was also
known as a protectress, having the unique ability to draw upon
a person's inner strength and then empower them to confront his/hers own challenges with a little help of her magick. This is frequently caused by the either mortal man or woman to use every bit of that strength in their body to face an insurmountable odds. Yet with the help of the Morrigan they usually do over come and win. It seems that there is another tradition that the Morrigan is part of too. This is
Part of the true Celtic tradition in which she had lived at the time In Wales and Ireland. She appeared in variety versions of the Triple Goddess Trinities. Now I haven't gotten into  very many if that any of the  Triple Goddess Trinities. So I am really not that familiar with the whole
Triple Goddess Trinities , so please bare with me. When she did appeared as a Triple Goddess, which was combined of the same person who had three different ages. The Morrigan has also appeared in the more traditional Triple Goddess in which there is a Maiden ,
a Mother and a Crone and she has always taken on the role of the Crone. Now . Why she always s picked the Crone that I really never new why?
But as a Triple Goddess, The Morrigan's three aspects were , Neaim, Macha, and Badb which when translated meant ' was 'Frenzy, 'Crow and  'Crow.'
She has also appeared in other, different cultures as the Fates, Moriae, Parcae, Tres Matres
and the Tree Marys of the Sea. When she appeared under all those names or under such other  such names as the Fae or the Washer at the Ford, those aspects were frequently
Associated with teaching sorcery, prophecy and motherhood she would change her appearance so that no one could figure out really who she was...
There was a time that the Morrigan was either married too or was the consort of the Dagda.
The Dagda was the Leader of the Tuatha De Danaan and the son of the Great Mother Goddess Danu. If you didn't know this before well you will learn this in this post - the Morrigan as her aspects in Badb and Neaim, are believed to have been the consorts of an obscure war God by the name of Neit, who might actually have been the Sky Father Nuada in his warrior aspect.
It was also believed that the Morrigan, in her aspect as Morgan le Fay, was the wife of the sorcerer Merlin. And it was also believed that it was the sorcerer Merlin that the Goddess Morrigan had learned all her magick.
The Morrigan origin stems directly from the megalithic cult known as 'The Mothers' which has
Also known as the 'MATRONES, THE IDISES, OR EVEN THE DISIR.  As I do more on this post on the Morrigan I seem to learn more and more my dears. It seems that this Mother Cult were very unique with the Triple Goddesses Trinity, when it came to expressing them selfs through the ecstasy of battle of war and regeneration.  I seems that is later times, the Celtic Triple Goddess of Sovereignty comprised of Eire, Banba and Fotla also used magick whenever they went to war or the battle fields, just like the Morrigan. In fact the Goddess Eire aspects are extremely similar to those of the Morrigan. The Goddess Eire was also a shape-shifter and she could appear as either a beautiful woman or crow just like the Morrigan too. I had no idea about this Goddess Eire that was so much like the goddess morrigan. It was like they could be sisters. Well it seems that because of the great many similarities between
the Morrigan and the Goddess Eire, it has been speculated that these two Goddesses may have been actually been half-sisters. So what do you think? I have One more thing for you to
Thing about, on the similar between the Morrigan and the Goddess Eire. Well it seems that not only were they the Goddesses of war; these two amazingly powerful Goddesses were often
Associated with the fate of the mortals, and with birth too, which seemed to add a sense of balance to their duties, including heralding the death or  acting as escorts of the dead. Well that is the end of the discussion of the almost like sister of the Morrigan and Goddess Eire.. I thought we would get back to the tale of the Morrigan and how she got her name the Red Morrigan as the Washer at the Ford Battle field. It seems that she frequent many of the battles of Ireland and Wales in ancient Celtic times. She would appeared by the ford of the river, just prior to battle, washing the bloody laundry of those warriors who were destined to die. They say that the Morrigan could tell by just looking at a warrior on who was going to live and who was going to die , at the Washer on the Ford. At the Washer on the Ford, the Red Morrigan as they said, had an extremely unique position, on the battle field because when she assumed that role, she became deeply and directly involved with the wars in Ireland and wales; and not only was she connected to these wars, she was also connected to its players and to all the death, darkness and horror that was connected with it. As I had said before briefly the Morrigan was able or had the power to choose which warriors were
going to die on the fields that day at battle. These wars were very bloody wars , that the Celtics had.  It was for these reason that the Celts viewed the Morrigan in much the same manner that they viewed the war, and when they attempted to visualize her, she would always appeared before them having the same bloodthirsty and savage qualities as the war. However, this was only one of many sides of this truly Magnificent Goddess.
It was said that the Morrigan was a member of the Tuatha de Danaan. She had fought beside, side by side with them and when they defeated the Firbolgs at the first battle of Magh
Tuireadh and the Fomorii and the second battle of Mag Tured  She never once stopped to rest while she was protecting her people from the invasion. That was just one part of  the many facets of her. There are some that forgot that the Morrigan was also a mortal woman and that she had the same feeling that any other woman might have when they might meet someone they become attracted too. This happened to be the God CuChulainn the greatest warrior that Ireland has ever had. Of course there is a tale to this , It seems that only by the Morrigan fighting  Cuchulainn on three separate occasions that she was able to give him the power that he needed to win the battle, as only she could give so that he could press forward and bring a victory to his people. There is more to this tale of love for the Morrigan. One day the Morrigan had approached the God Cuchulainn, who was the son of the God Lugh, and told him of her love for him. Well, as you probably can guess it didn't go very well. The Great God CuChulainn had not recognize the Morrigan, so he sent her away, telling her that she would only hinder him while he was busy fighting the war. Well you can only image how the Morrigan reacted to the Cuchulainn response to her, after telling him that she loved him and then he turned her down. I wouldn't want to be there. Her red hair must of been on fire. If you are curious about his God Cuchulainn in more detail I have put a LINK -
FOR YOUR TO READ MORE ABOUT HIM ON A POST THAT  I HAVE DONE ON HIM...
http://wendyjargonncom.blogspot.com/search/label/Cuchulainn%20Celtic%20God-The%20Goddess%20Scathach%20of%20the%20Celtic%20Underworld
Well, it was Cuchulainn unlucky day, like so many other men had done frequently, just like
the God Cuchulainn who simply looked at the Morrigan as average woman, who never once
took the time to recognize the feminine power of Sovereignty within her. This of course backfired in a huge way on the battle field later.  Well it seems that the Red Morrigan didn't stop trying, she continued in her attempts to let CuChulainn see the power that she had within her, hoping that it would win him over in loving her. So she again approached him at least four separate occasions and each time stating her longing love for him.  But each time the God CuChulainn would always send her away.
Well, you can only image the constant rejection from the Warrior God must of deeply hurt her.  It was only after a long period of time had passed that she was able to faced the God CuChulainn one more time, although this time she had a surprise for the God. She appeared in a guise a a old hag or crone. It was only then that the God Cuchulainn finally recognized the Morrigan for the true goddess that she was. It was then finally that the Cuchulainn was finally able to offered her his blessing. Well, it took a very long time, before the Morrigan's emotions would heal, after all she is a woman too.  However, she did come to terms with it one day. On this day, It was when Cuchulainn was on his way to what would be his final battle. Why? well you see he happened to pass by the Washer at the Ford. And you all know what that means! It was then that the
Morrigan told him that she was washing the clothes of CuChulainn who was soon going to die.
As the Washer of the Ford had predicted, he was killed in battle on that very same day. It was then that the Morrigan went down to see him, in the form of a crow settling lightly upon his shoulder.  The Morrigan was an Amazing Goddess. She had many faces too. She was
a shape-shifter, learned magick from the best Magician Merlin, she had
the ability to know and even choose who was going to die on the battle field at the Ford.
She was also simply a mortal woman with true feelings, a hero  and she was the
Goddess of the Irish and Wales of War. She was so many things Good and some
folks would say she had a dark side too. Maybe that was her Triple Goddess side
But As doing this post-redo I found that she was a peace loving Goddess
That just happened to have some powerful Magic and could shape-shift.
She was The Morrigan plane and simple.
She could be a very kind Goddess but she had a bit of the dark side too.
I hope that you all Enjoyed my re-do of the Morrigan
I love your all very much
