Well it would seem that unfortunately, the folks that came in contact with this Porcelain Doll, had accidentally triggered some kinda course for which there is really no real explanation. As for the AnneBelle Haunted Doll & the Japanses Haunted Doll too! Well, it would seem that Orange County California has the norm to set horror films it would seem. I haven't lived in the sunshine state in over 20+ years so I don't remember that being the norm when I lived in the area of Riverside Ca. which wasn't that far from Orange County. However this tale of the Sinister Porcelain Doll comes from the good people of San Clemente residents when they started to notice porcelain dolls appearing on their doorsteps for no apparent reason.
It would seem that the most terrifying part was not the dated period clothing, but the soulless eyes that were on the dolls or even the fact that some of the residents noticed a passing resemblance between the dolls and their daughters. This of course scared them even more. Also the appearance of the dolls was totally random where they would end-up on the folks porches in the town. It would also would span over a large area and in multiple neighborhoods over the course of a week. They people of the neighborhoods were left no notes or clues only a vague feeling that something terrifying was about to happen. The neighborhood had narrowed it down to a Restless 19th century ghost...or at least they thought so.. So at that point they began to call the police before they minds got running to fast with scary idea's. Well, as I read on you will find this isn't what you might think. it isn't as bad as my two above 'AnneBelle haunted Doll and the Japanese Haunted doll. So after some top-notch detective work, the police announced that their search had lead to the culprit; who was a sweet innocent old woman who went to church with many of them on Sunday morning. Wes Craven himself could not have scripted a creepier setup.
Fortunately the dolls were not an omen of death so much as they were an omen of Old Lady trying to Interact with her Neighbors. The police found that the dolls were being dropped off out of goodwill and that the woman intended it as a kind gesture, and it seems she hadn't seen enough horror films to realize the terrifying nature of magically appearing porcelain dolls. So the neighbors hope that next time she will stick to bake goods the next time she wants to do something nice for the neighborhood.
I hope you enjoyed this one it wasn't as scary as you might have thought it was just a nice story hehehe. love you all and have a lovely evening
Your friend always
WENDY-
Good evening my-dearest friends, followers, supports & readers. Today I'm going to bring you the tale of the Dove. I was going to do this post during the Easter Holiday but I got a bit busy. However, I loved the tale of the Dove so I decided to write it out tonight for you all. The Dove is considered sacred & magical wherever the Dove is known around the world. In general, the Dove symbolizes your soul. It's also seen as a messenger between God & humans. Among the primal traditions of the world, the dove is described as representing peace, innocence, gentleness, timidity & chastity. Although in some areas it can represent lustfulness. In virtually everybody's tradition that knows of the dove, it's considered sacred to creating the Great Mother or the Queens of Heaven. In Babylonian and Mesopotamian the traditions of the dove symbolize the Goddess Ishtar and in Christian belief it's the symbol of the Virgin Mary. The Phoenicians saw the dove as a Companion to the Moon Goddess Astarte, while the Goddess Syrian Atargatis bore a Sceptre with a Golden Dove on its tip. In the mythology of ancient Egypt the Dove is associated with the tree of life. It is portrayed sitting in its branches or carrying the fruit of the tree in its beak. It also has a special affinity with the olive trees & to this day the image of the dove carrying an olive branch is almost universally recognized as a symbol of peace. In Japan- the ancient legend describes the dove as a messenger of war and sacred to the God of War. This is symbolism reversed. In Classic Greek- during the time of the Olympians & Titian's, Zeus the oldest son of Cronos was hidden from his father by his mother Rhea. The Doves kept Zeus alive by feeding him as a infant-child to young adult ambrosia. The dove is also sacred to Adonis, Bacchus and Aphrodite who is often shown in a chariot drawn by doves.
Turtledoves
There was an Roman writer, by the name 'Aelian who stated that the white turtledoves were sacred not only to Aphrodite & her mother Demeter, but was also sacred to the Fates & the Furies, which shows that even the sacred Dove of peace & innocence could be considered dangerous when it served such destructive forces. Another tale of the Dove is one that lived in the sacred Oak of Dodona who gave the oldest oracle of the God Zeus. It apparently spoke with a human voice & the priestesses of the sacred site was known as 'Doves'. It seems that there were other sources that said that the oracle answers were conveyed not by the voice of the Dove, but in its flight, which could be read according to the circumstances. Yet another version to this tale, attributes the oracle to the sound of the rustling of leaves caused by doves sitting among the branches of the sacred oak... The Turtledove was domesticated by the Hebrew people. They happen to be the only ones that the beautiful and sacred creature would allow to approach them. It was said the reason why! It was according to the Law of the Moses that only the Hebrew people could have contact with the sacred Dove of God. Doves are the most mentioned bird in the bible & were considered to be particularly sacred to the Hebrew people. In the old Testament tradition the dove represents freedom, escape from tyranny, simplicity harmlessness, innocence, meekness and constancy too! In the New Testament the Dove is represents the holy spirit. In Medieval tradition times it is perceived as bringing the sacred water into the vessel of the Holy Grail.
In Babylonian Chaldean, Greek and Hebrew Traditions the dove is also associated with the story of the Great Flood in which it appearance symbolized an end to the inundation and a return to
normal life once more- For me the Dove has always meant blessing
from God and to all people, that believe their own God that they find peace all over the world. I hope you enjoyed
Hello my dears, I've always enjoyed a good Movie/T.V show-Bitten (Favorite) although when it comes to Werewolf or for that matter Skin Walkers they always get the bad reputation. I have already done a post on Skin Walkers so I thought I would do the same for the Werewolf. You see in my opinion the Werewolf happens to just be in the wrong place at the wrong time. In most cases they once were a human man/woman or even teen that has been bitten by another pure wolf and usually are just protecting their own. The Werewolf has many names and comes from many different cultures too. The most traditional that exists is in the European countries. The name 'Werewolf' was derived from the Old English word - wer which means man. When you add wolf to it, well now you know where the word comes from at least in Europe. However, it isn't just a phenomenon that exists just in Europe or the States as I discovered doing this post. The Werewolf metamorphosis happens in other animals which is prevalent in the European regions. According to the legend werewolves are humans who have been bitten by another cursed werewolf. Then there is the other belief that there are ancient packs that have lived for many centuries that are pure bloods that feel that they are not cursed. Its' really all up to what you what or willing to believe. The Europeans belief that werewolves are traced back to ancient times in Greece & Rome. They were know as the 'Versipeilis' or 'Turnskins' in Latin during Roman times. In ancient Greek times it was believed that a human could be transformed by eating the meat of an wolf that had been mixed with that of a human and that the condition was irreversible. The Greek Tradition originated from the over zealous worship of the God Zeus by Lycaeon who had sacrificed his child for Zeus. In return Lycaeon son was turned into a wolf, so I guess sometimes the
God Zeus was a just God at times. After that a cult of wolf worshippers was established. These folks would wear wolf masks and hunt the sacrificial beings, sometimes humans through the forests to be destroyed by them. It was said, that Herodotus in the years between(485-425BC). Suggested that the Neuri, which was a tribe of sorcerers who were capable of transforming themselves on certain feasts of the year.
It was found that an Elder of the tribe of sorcerers in AD77 by the name of Pliny of the prestigious family of Antaeus remained an Werewolf/Lycanthrope for nine years after having been selected by drawing lots of the wolfs during the medieval period. After the demise of the native wolf, it was though that witchcraft was the source of the Werewolves & numerous of people were accused of this crime.
Thousands were put to death in England & in France more that 30,000 people were executed between the years of 1520 and 1630 as being suspected of being werewolf. I believe it was also part of the whole horrific horror of the witch trials too. It was also said even in Germany there was a well documented case that was even published in England in they year 1590. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED; A man by the name of Peter Stubbs who lived in Bedburg Germany, guises himself as a wolf - raped murdered then ate humans including his own family as well. Peter Stubbs continued his terror in Bedburg Germany as guise as a wolf for some 25years until he was caught, tortured then executed.
Interesting tale. There are many different kinda names for the werewolf that I found here are a few;
1-In Germany (Loup Garou)
2-In France (Vlkodlaks or Vookodlaks)
3-In Slovakia (Vircolak)
4-In Russia (Vulkodak)
5-In Portugal(Lob Omem)
6-In Spain(Lob Ombre)
7-In Italy(Lupo Manaro)
It is said that in France, Germany, Scandinavia and Russia there exist many tales of the Werewolf,
Were-Bears, were-cats, were-dogs and were-foxs too!
In the rest of the world the Werewolf many manifest as another animal such as the Were-
Crocodile,were-Jackal, were-hyena, & the were-leopard of African countries. In Borneo, India, China & Japan we have the were-Tiger, were-fox. Then there is the were-boar of Greece and Turkey. In the USA the were-mountain cat and were-bear and the were-jaguar of South America. Of course you have to take some of this as legend and other as truth. I will leave that up to you all my dears I hope that you enjoy my post on the history sorta on the Werewolf. I will well also show a few gifs of my favorite show Bitten. Its here in the states. Its one of the nicer done of the portrait of the werewolf
