Angles-

Through the centuries, artists' representations of angels have emphasized the perfection of their spiritual

natures. In Many of the world's religions, Angels are our spiritual beings who act as intermediaries between God and humans. They are Messengers of God. Angels may serve any of a number of purposes. Their role may be to teach, command, guardians, warriors or inform individuals of their destiny. Angels may also act to protect /help the human race. The word angel comes from the Greek language which means angelos , meaning
"messenger." In the Western religions, the word Angel specifically describes a kind, or benevolent being. However in most other religions, the line separating 'good' angels from the bad angels is not always so clear. I believe this to be because we in our minds, we feel that Angles should always be good but as with everything in life there is always the dark side of a personality. Just as there is in the angles. Yes this is true. An angel may act benevolently in one situation, but with evil intent in another.  It seems that over the hundred of thousands of centuries, people have described the functions of angels in various ways. In this post I will try to find these various ways both in research and in most Scripture. You may ask why the Scripture? well because that is where alot of our angles history within our Bible Scripture.
The Nature of the Angels-  The worlds religions have had different views about the nature of angles for

decades. Some regard angels a divine beings who deserve to be worshiped rather than just as messengers of God. Of course there is also disagreement that about the bodies of angels, what this means is I think, is that the angels have an actual physical body. While others insist that the angels only appear to have a physical body. Thus it kinda shows just what the human needs, to see in a angle at any given time it being the ancient times or present times.  And of course there are others that believe that the angles are purely a spiritual being with no physical body, but they can assume material bodies at well.
I found that the role of the angels is truly developed basic on religions revelation and the disclosure or communication of divine truth of the will of human beings. These religions may included Judaism, Christianity, Islam, & Zoroastrianism which is a faith found by the ancient Persian people. There may be more but as this is a wide range of subject, it would be hard to find all the religions. I did find that in the religions that are based on revelation: God and humans are distant from each other. The Angels are the ones the help bride that huge gap.
I believe that angles praise God just as we do, but they carry out God's will in a different way, and reveal
divine word in ways that we may or may not understand. They may reveal this to us in many different ways. They may also help humans attain their salvation or receive special favors of sorts only known to the Angels. It is also found that the angles act for god as in influence on human affairs though such deeds as rewarding faithful believers, punishing humans who do evil deeds, and helping people in great need.

Representation of Angels- If you think about it, for centuries artists have struggle with the representation of Angles in paintings & drawings since bible times. And it wasn't till modern times, that I feel that the artist has felt free and open to express their feeling on what they interpretation what an angle might be like. In the many different forms, divines duties, spiritual or protector of the heavens they may paint them. The written descriptions were not very helpful in their plinth in trying to interpret the divine angles either. The reason was in the bible the tend to be very vague or bizarre, not clear distinction between angle or the humans. In

doing this post I looking at many different interpretations of angles, and I must say there are alot. Artist of the ancient times mostly used females nude/or in flowing white robes and the wings were not very large. 

They seem to use halos and long hair.

~THE ANGELS OF GOD~

I myself have always believed that angles have been here to guide us  mere humans since the beginning of time. And you have the angels powers of god in your life , from the moment you were born. Gods angels are all aroud us to guide, guard and force us to spiritual advancing in our life before us. From the moment of our
creation. Angels powers are influencing each and everyday/one of us! The angels are energetic embodiments and are vibratory expressions of the qualities and personal of the divine. They awaken our consciousness to

presence to the divine that already exists in each and every living human being. Basically the angels help us with our Souls. By partaking with them in our lives we are actively bringing them their divine wisdom within our souls. But doing this thus we are said to contain some of the characters of our guardian angels and
probably don't even know that we are interacting with the angles from the time we are born to the time it's for us to come bace home to the heavens above. I found that an Angel is neither male nor female they are referred as either he or she. They don't have a human form because they are made of divine energy light if you will. Some of the angels call it love and light. Angels will project themselves to us in a manner we are
much more comfortable, which means we will often see them as a human. They do this so that we
will not feel so nerves or afraid when we see them. If they have a message to give us, they might even come
to us in a form of a departed love one, so as not to scare us. This way it will comforter us at the same time.

If they werent' do these shapeshifting from the divine these Angels may appear to us as only a very bright white light, colored lights, Sounds like that of sweet bells, maybe a emotional feeling or a thought. It could be
even in a dream with a scent of something quite pleasant/ these are a few different ways the divine willl try to
connect with humans with a message or with comfort. This is why we usually see the angles as a human form,
but anglic or as a departed loved one, they want to do it in ways that wont' frighten us or scare us.
Another interesting and wonder about  the Angels I found about is the Divine Angels don't want to be
worshipped or want us to pray to them as we pray to God, but we can't expect guidance from them
unless we ask for help. So God has given all of us free will an Angels are not interfere with that. Yet their energy surrounds us in pushing us to do things all the time. To fulfill Gods wishes for advance and to push up
our souls..  To contact an Angel, all you need to do is talk to them - really to them just inside
your head like you do when you talk to God. Its as simple as that! There is nothing you can't discuss with a
Angel and they know everything. And they always listen too. There isn't nothing too small or trivial for a

Angel to stop and listen to help guide you and help your thru yur life!

In the Hebrew Bible and the Hole bible I found that the prophet Daniel experience in a vision

after having undergoing a period of fasting. In his vision In Daniel 10:13-21 an Angel idenifes himself 

as Michael the protector of Israel. Daniel refers T Michael as a "Prince of the first Rank"

In the Hebrew Bible & the Holy Bible it says in Scripture that the Prophet Daniel said, " At
that time Michael, was the Great Prince Angel who Protects your People, will arise."
I did find this view of the Angel Michael playing this most important role as the Protector of
Israel and later of the Christaian people too.

The Book of Daniel 10:13
'But the prince of the Persian Kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then  Michael, one
of the chief princes, come to help me, because I was detained there with the King of Persia.'
The Book of Daniel 10:21
'But first I will tell you what is written in the book of Truth (No one supports me against them
except Michael, your prince.
The Book of Daniel - 'The End Times' 12:1-4
'At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise.  There will be
a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that
time your people - everyone whose name is found written in the book - will be delivered.
Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame
and everlasting contempt. Thoses who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens and
those who lead many to righteousnes, like the stars forever and ever.
But  you Daniel close up and Seal the words of the Scroll until the time of the End.
Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.'
All of the Scriptures above is refered to the same individual who acts in similiar ways in
all three cases of the Scriptrues that I have quoted from my own Bible.
Daniel 10:13, 10:21 12:1-4 The last 12:1-4 called 'End of Times' while the first two
were refer to local time in Persia.

Green Man

Green Man-
I thought I would go back to my Love of the Celtic World with the Legend of the Green Man.

I hope that you all will find this post interesting too my dears friends and followers too. The
Green Man has many different legends but, what I have found mostly about him was he was a
pagan deity who roam the woodlands of  the British Isles and all of Europe. He usually is
depicted as a horned man peering out of a mask of green foliage, of the sacred Oak Tree ( As I have said
many times the Oak trees are sacred to the Fairies and many of the Magick Creatures of the enchanted world). It is said that the Green Man is know by other name such as 'Green Jack, 'Jack-in-the-Green, Green George are just a few. He represents the spirit of the trees, plants and all foliage of the woods and forests and is believed to have rain making powers to foster livestock with lush meadows and valleys too.
The Green Man is frequently depicted in medieval art, which includes church decorations too. He is called
Green George mostly in the spring Pagan rites and is represented by a young man dressed head to toe in

greenery, who will lead the festival procession. Sometimes in other festivals the Green Man is called a effigy of him and is drunken in a river or pond to ensure that there will be enough rain to make the meadows,valleys, and forests are green. It is also believed by some that the Green Man shares an affinity with the forest-dwelling fairies since green is the fairy color. In some of the British Isles the fairies are called 'Greenies or Greencoaties'. In this myth of the Fairy Children they will appear as two fairy children - a brother and a sister who have green skin and claim to be a race with green skin.
There's one thing that I've already learned from this post and that is about the colour Green! I had
know idea that the colour green has been known through the ages as the colour for the Fae...
It is said that Green was so universally recognized as the colour of the Fae, that many in Scotland
refused to wear the the colour on any of their clothing, because it might invite anger or curse from the Fae
folk on their families down thought the generations of Scotland. I don't know if Ireland felt the same or if the Britain's were also the same about the colour Green but it sure is interesting.  What the Scott's were commonly worried about were the Fairies called the 'Greene's and 'Greencoaties. These were the common
euphemisms used in Britain for the Fae.
Green was a color shunned by many as also being associated with the evil fairies and witches? But Why GREEN? I asked this question too while doing this post. It didn't make much since to me because in my mind GREEN IS THE COLOUR ASSOCIATED WITH NATURE, MOTHER GAEA, MOTHER EARTH, RIPENING OF LIFE, FERTILITY, FORESTS, WOODS, MARSHES ETC.. SO WHY? I HAD TO FIND OUT. From what I discovered at least in this information that was saying that the colour green was that of shunned to be with the evil fairies and witches (and witches are not evil in my opinion).

The reason I found was during the formation of Christianity when it first came about in the very

very early days Christianity came to man. To them, nature was seen to exist for the pleasure and consumption of man It was a thought that put fear into many which later on, gave nature the view point as being evil. And anything associated with nature was seen in a similar way. That green
represented the power and fertile life of nature slowly came to be associated with evil, and thus Pagan, forms
bent on the torment of mankind. Thus fairies, who were mischievous entities of the underworld, and part of the old race which inhabited many parts of the world prior to man's arrival, became if not outright evil, close
relatives of evil. I don't really believe all of what the early Christian's said or believe but its interesting read and kinda said what humans did in the early beginning of our mother earth Gaea. Its a wonder that the fairies hide from all of Us! But over the years they have discovered that we are all aren't kind are for-fathers...
But over the decades the colour green has become a symbolic as well as with the symbolism of new
growth and the greenness and its association with the fairies. But it is also this very link that mankind has lost over the centuries which has been re-established through the Green Man, the Wild Huntsman and other legends to connect with our Fae people... I myself really don't know if it will every be truly the same and if the trust will ever be regain again. But they are out there and slowly gaining new trust will a hand full of humans like all of you that have started to believe and have a kind heart for the Fae.
The Green Man is typically about a human size, though when they are older with all the greater elements connections of weather over many many years of protection of the forests they can be much smaller in stature. Their skin is always green though the shades of green may vary, and they are always covered head to toe even sometimes the face and hands in green foliage. The plant covering is commonly leaves,
with the occasional thorns, vines, roots or even petals too. Their eyes are always green or some earth tone
color like that of brown tones or gray. And naturally, a green Mans hair is always some shades of green.

That's is if they have hair. It is not uncommon to see the hair of a hehehee Going in their bathing suit!
Green Man replace by leaves, and occasionally thorns, vines roots. In additional a  Green Man can sometime be seen with branches protruding from their bodies; they may even have a pair of branches growing from his forehead to resemble a pair of antlers. What they ware as clothing is only leaves, branches, roots petals and other plant matter for clothes or if they decided to even wear clothes at all Eh!
A Green Man's mannerisms can vary just as any creature of the woods.  Some of these Green Men are quite philosophical and very soft-spoken, fond of poetry and literature; others are hearty and very stubborn, fond of sports and rough-housing; others are very flamboyant and charismatic, with a flair for the dramatic and still other can be very loud, outspoken and quick-tempered, easily prone to violence or even mischief too. There is one personality trait that always remains the same with all the Green Men personality's and that is their deep love and respect for every aspect of Nature. The Green Man is deeply passionate for the great outdoors and the wilderness is their favorite place to live and explore.
They deeply relish in climbing the trees, swinging on branches or vines, hiking, climbing mountains, roaming in

the meadows and valleys, swimming and being around animals too. These Green Men will even make their homes in the tree tops, in the middle of branches or even in a large-enough hollow. And they defend the wood  of their forest fiercely, especially their home tree. They often feel the need to personally deal with any who will defile it with littering their forest, out of control fires , deforestation or the like of both.
They are very much a solitary creatures.

They sometimes live in banana and fig trees where passers by can hear them playing cymbals and lutes. They are also companioned with the Gandharvas, the air spirits of music. They give good fortune to those who engage in games of luck but can cause derangement in those that hear their music by enticing them with their smiles. I thought that I would do another fairy for you all my dears friends and followers, I am doing much better this
third week in my nasty cold, I have been trying to answer all your lovely comments:o) And I will continue to Apsaras fairies or spirits, which are refers to as the divine beauties and dancers who populated Lord Indras court in Hindu mythology in Japan. I will try to cover both as best that I can. I hope that you all will find this post as interesting as all of the rest of my stories:0)
try to keep up as best as I can. My next post is about the Apsara Fairies which have many different twist and turns about this Fairies. I found both the Hindu & Buddha Apsara spirits females of the clouds/ And The Sanskrit term for these celestial beings as the 
Besides the two different and other cultural Mythology of the Apsara fairy and female spirits they are also companions with the Gandharvas, the air spirits of music. They give good fortune to those who engage in games of luck, but can cause derangement in those that hear their music by enticing them with their smiles.
These beautiful fairies have also been know to live in the Arjuana trees and live among the peacocks which I have found that are very sacred in their own. I am planning to do a post just on the beauty of these amazing birds the Peacocks at some point.:0)
The Apsaras have been referred in ancient stories, legends as well as in fairy tales. They are variously described as fairies, angels, nymphs and sirens too. Actually they are celestial maidens of exquisite beauty 
and alluring charm, atrtistically blessed with the power of dance and song. They also have the will power so

that they can change their body shape/ shapeshifters to any form they desire. 
The Apsaras are really the court dancers of the kings of the gods, of Indra. It is Indra under whose instructions the Apsaras seduce mortals, kings and sages, who became powerful enough to threaten the Mighty Indra. It is said that the male counterparts of the Apsaras are called Gandharvas, who are also very 
expert in music as well. The Apsaras dance in Indra' court while the Gandharvas sings and plays the music. 
How that I have given you a little bit about the Apsara fairy history I thought I would go in more detail, because this fairy has a lot more depth to them. 
'An Apsara or Sanskrit is a feminine of either Vietnamese, Bidadari, Malay, Indonesian and Tausug  also known as a Vidhya Dhari. Is a female fairy spirit of the clouds and the waters. In Hindu and Buddhist mythology, the Apsara is frequently translated as Apsara  which are "nymphs 'celestial nymph and celestial maiden." These Apsaras are supernatural beautiful girls; that will appear as young women of great beauty and
elegance who are proficient in the arts of dancing. They are said to be the wives of the Gandharvas, court

servants of Indra. They will dance to the music made by their

husbands, usually in the palaces of the Gods and entertain the Gods and fallen heroes. In their assignment as caretakers of fallen heroes, they may be compared to the valkyries of Norse Mythology. Apsaras are also shapeshifters too and can change their shape at will, specially when rule over the fortunes of gaming and gambling. 
Some of the most famous Apsara fairies were Urvasi Menaka, Rambha and Tilottama. 

Sometimes the Apsaras are compared to the muses of ancient Greece, Also they are associated with 
water so they may be compared to nymphs, dryads and naiads of ancient Greece as well. They are also 
associated with fertility rites. In Hinduism the lower Apsaras are sometimes regarded as nature spirits who may lure men to their deaths; in this respect they may be compared to the Slavic Rusalki or the Greek sirens.

Apsaras 

 In japan the Apsaras in called Tennyo-celestial maidens or Tennin-heavenly beings. Yu usually will find the art work of these Apsaras Fairies appearing most frequently as dancers and musicians who adorn the Budda in statuary paintings, temples and structure of both China, Japan and Southeast Asia. I couldn' t find the attributes of these Apsaras Fairies in Japan culture as clearly but In the paintings it was quite clear that they are almost always shown standing, 

sitting or flying through the clouds in the most graceful poses.

 playing musical instruments or scattering flowers to give praises to the gods.

unpredictable, playful, delightful, guarded, & at times can be

a little scary if they feel they are threatened. Now there are Fairies
that are just a bit scary because they just are scary. This is with the Nymphs too.
But more often then not its because the Nymph or Fairy is either protecting their
home which is usually of a Nature origin..
I the Greek Mythology, an Oreads or Orestiads was a type of nymph that lived in the mountains, valleys
and ravines. They differ form each other according to their dwelling; The Idaeae were from Mount Ida,
and the Peliades were from the Mount Pelion. They each were associated with Artemis since the Goddess, when out hunting preferred mounts and rocky precipices.
There was one very famous Oreiad Nymph of Mount Kithairon in Boiotia. Yes! And this Beautiful
Nymph was Echo. Although being probably one of the most famous of all the nymphs has its good/bad  perks. Thoughtout Mythology her voice and name has lived on to modern times even to this day.
Being that she was a beauty of a Oread from the Mt. Kihairon, she would run into the Great Zeus himself quite often. And Zeus loved the Nymphs be it Mountain, water, etc. but he did enjoy the company of the Nymph Echo. So it meant that when Hera came looking for her wayward hubby,

Echo would have to keep her taking until everyone could make a clean get away. Eventually all Echo's taking make Hera even more suspicious of Zeus when she came a calling. His absence in  Mt Olympus, was becoming more and more frequent. So Hera was determined to catch her husband in the act. Well she did find out it was Echo the Nymph of Mountains of Oreads and a couple of others Mountain Nymphs . Of course this is a much storter version., but Hera cursed poor Echo to lose any ability to speak for herself and to only be able to repeat the words of others. And of course the other Nymphs were punished too, Hera didn' t keep her word to protect her voice and she was punished worst of all. Now not being able to speck to for herself and to only be able to repeat the words of others. She fell into a great depression. The beauty Echo had fallen in love with Narcissus. From what I gather what happen in the tragedy love story, Echo despite falling in love with Narcissus- who
was the son of Lirope of Thespia, a blue nymph, and the river God Cephisus. As the tale goes between the two lovers/ poor Echo who could not speak, saw her beloved Narcissus hunting, so she decided to quietly with him through the woods. Well follow him without being seen. She was desperate to talk to her beloved Narcissus. but unable to speak unless he shouted something so she could repeat it, which she felt was not a very good chance of happening! The Mountain forest was very quite, which was odd, Then Narcissus finally figured out that he had be followed. So he finally shouted out the words''  Who's there?!", to which could only be repeated back by Echo," Who's There?!".
So Do you wonder what happened to these to lovers? Humm. Well I have a bit more to tell. This little exercise in the Mountain forest went on for a while until, guess who had the courage to show their self?

A Heartbroken Echo

in the depth of her mountains.

And Echo turned to stone
after crying the rest of
her days until her beauty
was incased in this staute

Well? Ok... It was Echo, she finally mustard up the courage to show herself and ran up to Narcisssus and give him a very
huge hug. She was denied as he pushed Echo away and strictly told her to leave him alone.
Echo's Heart was heartbroken, and she left crying; She cried for the rest of her days until finally she became
a stone. Now all that is left of her is an invisible echo And I bet if you go into the Mountains of theMount Kithairon in Boiotia. You might beable to hear if you listen very carefully
the sound of Echo's cry's echoing throughout the moutaintops... Her spirit will always be in those mountains.. This is something I will always believe.
