Well my dears, I have done quite a few different Races on the
 Fairies and Dragons. So I thought I would continue to research on the Elves and their kinship race too.
When I went on my quest to find the Fire Elves it wasn't that easy I must say... but I did find a little bit
of information on these rare kinship race the Fire Elves... The Fire Elves are quite different than their
cousin kinship Elves. They at one time many decades ago were a proud Elfin tribe not Elfin race to our
foreign world of humans. Fire Elves at the times to the ancient times would live a very peaceful live with
many other tribes of Fire Elves that were just like themselves. They had kept hidden in the depths of the

the darkest forests after the Crown Wars and had made their own homes & laws among themselves. The Fire Elves Appearance is very difference compared to their Elfin kin..their skin doesn't have the color of pure fire, as well as their hair. It looks just like regular skin but if anyone other that a fire elf were to their skin it could diffidently kill you.  Their eyes look like glowing pieces of coal or red glowing eyes of fire.  Fire elves are totally immune to fire, and in addition they are strong magicians, especially for fire magic. Physically they aren’t really strong, and they don’t even have the highest vitality, but intelligence and willpower make them good magicians. For their nature water is their biggest enemy – it is able to kill them, and rainy weather forces them to hide their skin under thick cloaks, because every single drop ‘burns’ their skin. Crossing a river would be an impossibility, unless they can’t walk over water or there’s no bridge. And believe me, any water WILL kill them within seconds! In addition they do have a weakness against frost. From  my research of the Fire Elves it seems that after the dark elves, drows, shadow elves, ghost elves, night elves or shur-drows, followed these rules] . This is how later the Fire elves became after the last of the Elfin wars. They had to studied the arcane fire power in secret and some of them got really obsessed about it.

Crown Wars, it seems that all tribes and races or the elves had some sorta laws that said the all magic was forbidden due to the damage it had cause in the 5
Crown wars. [Although I very much doubt that the

discover what they were doing and the fact that they were getting stronger and stronger. However one day
one of the Fire Elves committed a terrible crime. What happened was a Fire Elf was practicing the Forbidden magic of Fire and when a fire ball lighted up the
dry leaves & underwood most of the forest ended up burning up in smoke & burning down. No matter how much the group tried to put the fire out.  They almost ended up burning down the Entire forest which they loved and was their only  home they knew. It was clear to all their elfin cousin kin that they were
studying the forbidden power of Fire and even used it. So it was the oldest and wises of each tribe would carry out the punishment to the guilty... And it was quite harsh I must say.. They were not easy on their own when it came to legal matters of magick and law even in the times of the ancient one of the Elves... In fact I

think they were sometimes even more harsh than us humans ...So You are probably wondering what was their judgement Eh! Well .. It seems that all  the Fire Elves that were involved were banished from this world -EARTH - TO ANOTHER WHICH I COULD FIND OUT WHAT IT WAS...BUT I AM SURE IT WASN'T A NICE PLACE PLUS THEY WERE CURSED . AND THE CURSE WAS UNBREAKABLE UNTIL THEIR DEATH. THE CURSE WAS A TRULY EVIL ONE BECAUSE IT WOULD TRANSMITTED TO ANY CHILDREN THEY HAD AND OF COURSE GRANDCHILDREN TOO. IT WOULD CONTINUE UNTIL THEIR FAULT IS WARN OUT. YET THEIR NEVER EVER HAVE THE CHANCE TO RETURN TO EARTH THEIR NATIVE HOME LAND...

substance to it. Even their hair was like fire flowing in the air.  Their body's had such a incredible intense heat that would come from what skin they kinda had left that it was very hard for their cousins Elfin kinship to
even stay near them for fear of being badly burned. Besides the fact that they couldn't be by their kinship Elfin cousin or anyone else for that matter, they would have to learn to fear things they once had loved....
Let me explain... You see before they could walk about just like everybody else but just where heavy cloaks

with caps that would protect them from the elements - Yes rain snow ice wind etc.. Rain would be their biggest enemies now! It would burn their skin just like fire would burn others. That was for all those who died in the fires on Earth for their punishment and their curse. So the old wise men gave them this new magick power of fire, now they need to learn how to use it since they wanted it so much before in their old world, now in their new world they would have to learn why they like it and how to survive and make a new home on this new planet with other elfin kin that they cannot touch. Well I learned quite a 

bit from doing this post on the Fire Elves ... mostly that Even the Elves had to learn the hard 

way that with Great power comes Great responsibility ... And in the End they were 

Punished by their very on people... In ways were aren't that much different in some ways

Hello, my dears friends & followers I thought I would continue my posts on a few more Elves Yes!
there's a few more races of the Elfin race that I haven't covered... Last was the Star Elves today
we will cover the High Elves.  The High Elves or quel'dorei children of Noble birth. As they are
sometimes called.  The High elves were once  a significant force on our continent Earth but in the recent
times their numbers have been dramatically reduced by a huge numbers. As much as 90% of their race was
slaughter in the Third Crown War. It seems that after the third Crown War another huge number of
the Elfin race of the High Elves survivors decided to change their names to the "Blood Elves'' in remembrance of their fallen brethren and no longer consider themselves the high Elfin race.  It seems that only about 25,000 true high elves remain on our earth who still cling to the Alliance and are still trying to restore their glory of their once great People in hiding... It seems that the tale of the Ancient High Elves in a sad tale. Once I started my research on these very proud Elf's. Their origins seems to be plagued with both tragedy, conflict and War.
Being that fact, they were born of noble birth the High Elves were a stark contrast to their nocturnal cousin kin the Night Elves or any others... The High Elves would embraced the light of the sun and for sake the night.  It seems that the High Elves were the descendants of the very elves who had served the Queen
Azshara in the time of the Well of Eternity. It seems that the High Elves have a rather close history with the

Night elves. However, it seems they have been spending generations trying to separate themselves from the
night elves. It seems that the two kin races are usually clashes with the different personality's plus it seems
the High Elves have a reputation of being a bit arrogant which led them to another War - the War of the Ancients and with that it ultimately was the downfall of the Golden age of the Elfin civilization. It seems though the decades the High Elves had allowed the darkness to seep into their world of light, hope, honor
and to a darker place of corruption. This was primary due to their reckless use of their Magick and
the powerful drug like magic the that the High elves were lured into the dark side that lead the to a
perilous path. It seems that in their origins and past their youth felt that the Magic wasn't doing the race any
harm, but, of course, the ancient ones or the Oldest of the High Elves new better and new the true
dangers of this potential damning Magick to their race. It was unfortunate that the Youth didn't listen to their
elders because of these damaging dark magic to the High Elven race. Some of the High Elves decided to
still press onward to see what this dark magic could bring to them and the community of the cities of

the  High Elves. From all this, the high elves took a tragic race decline like I had meant before. But dipping into the dark magic over the many centuries it led them into a downward spiral.. It wasn't all the High Elves that were part of this, but the ones that did were the ones that brought the whole race down. As
I said before it was a sad tale here about the High Elves...This is when there were only a few thousand left
when they had left and went with their cousin kin and became the Blood Elves. By joining the Blood Elves
the High Elves had allied with the sworn enemies of  the Elfin kind. It seemed from all of this the High Elves
destined themselves from all their other cousin kin and distrusted most all over races of the Elfin kin too. They remained the High Elves but are pariahs in an age where there is little left for them but a life of

mistrust and woe.  After the Alliance with the blood Elves the remaining High Elves kinda scattered throughout the continent as
the clung to the Alliance for protection until they were able to organize themselves again to reclaim every last High Elf on the Eastern Continent. These few Elves still kept their name High Elfin names even with all that had happened throughout the decades with the Night Elves and then the Blood Elves even to this day modern times... It is said that some of the high elves had band together  and fled south and now wander throughout the deepest parts of the forest. Those who do stay alive have to stay one step ahead of the trolls or will be probably be eaten alive by the cannibalistic trolls. So they have made their homes in the high trees and next to the hard rock where they could carve into stairs to the trees. The would have
scourge of patrols, hunting the elfin refugees and would also stalk through the woods and valleys.
It seems as I read and go throughout the history of the High elves they have a high connection with the blood Elf's.High elves are currently found primarily scattered throughout human societies, thereby being forced to rely on the hospitality of the younger race. This dependency has resulted in some high elves vigorously trying to find a new homeland, with possibly a new source of magic. The status of their blood elven counterpart has resulted in them being shunned by most of the Alliance, particularly the night elves.These elves eschewed their high elven ancestry in search for some way to placate their magical addiction and became the blood elves, and now use alternative magical sources to safeguard their lives. The destruction of the Sunwell has forced the high elves into decline, causing them to doubt the future of their once-proud race and drawing animosity toward them from other races who feel that the high elves have betrayed the Alliance. Most of the high elves have placed themselves under a self-imposed exile, ashamed of the damage that they have wrought upon the world of Magick.

Appearance: The Appearance of the High elves is different for one Elfin High Elf to another. They
stand slightly taller than humans. Bothe the males/females are usually a little over 6th feet height and
weight between 100 to 175 pounds depending on gender. These Elves are generally always very slim, with
sharp symmetrical features. They are also are often an exaggeration of perfect beauty. The High Elves
are uniformly in complexion, with white to flaxen colored hair. Their eyes are incredibly intense in color,
seeming to glow with an inner light. It seems that mostly the high elves may have either blue or green eyes,
having either violet or read is not unheard of. [note blood Elves have red eyes mostly or glowing pale green eyes] From what I discovered about the High Elves and their eyes - It seems their eyes have quite alot to do with the span of their life and they look much more like that of a human. Let me explain: It seems that the

structure of the High Elfin eyes shows that they are generally very much like humans with their  pupil and iris

that is surrounded by 'white' but they tend to be able to see much father that us humans are able too. They
also have much longer life span too several hundred years... Actually they reach adulthood at 110 years old,
and will live to a roughly age of maximum lifespan of 400+ years and even a few may live as long as a thousand years+ or more. although it is said that most of the High Elves will die at the around the age of
350years due to a rough life... Moat of the high elves do not were red or black clothing for the fear of being
mistaken as a blood elves. However the High Elves do have much shorter ears and much smaller , lighter bodies types that the blood elves and night elves so this does help them quite a bit. In addition their ears
usually are pointed upwards whereas those of the blood/night elves do not.
The High Elves have white, red, orange, brown, black and blonde hair and fair skin. All mostly have a
brilliantly intense sapphire coloured eyes that will glow.
In the World of Warcraft they have made the High Elves eyes colour an intense sapphire that makes them glow intense/ but have more variation according of eye colour in the game I told. The Blood Elves have only the emerald green glowing eyes to show their magick addiction and to fel magic. Also the Blood Elves in the   World of Warcraft - Game - The Blood Elves and High elves are for the most part the same race in terms of underlying physical biology. In the Game the Blood elves have the glowing green eyes and their hair and skin are much darker or a unnatural coloured. I know there is more, but I am really not familiar with the Game.. I have this session for you so you will get a little part of what the World of Warcraft is about and
how it relates to my High elves/Blood elves...

In World of Warcraft, the high elves closely resemble blood elves appearance-wise (they in fact share the same model, although High Elves have blue eyes as opposed to the green eyes of Blood Elves), but their voices are more mild-mannered like those of night elves (in the game, they use the same voices as Night Elves, although unsuitable lines, such as "Elune'adore", "Ishnu'alah" or "Goddess watch over you", are not used). Taela Everstride at Allerian Stronghold even says, somewhat bemusedly, "No, don't feel bad. I get that a lot... I'm a high elf, not a blood elf. Don't worry, I won't suck the magic out of you." However, other than greeting voices, high elves and blood elves do appear to share similar voice emotes in-game, particularly  during combat. Before World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, in game high elves used modified night elf models.] This is not mind it is copy of you to understand a bit more about the World of Warcraft..Wendy

 As far as the High elfin homes the often use a blue or green color scheme, possibly to differentiate them from

the red-hued Architecture that was all destroyed in the Third Crown War. So they build their homes which

are aloof and distant from their allies. They keep to themselves and enjoy wandering the forest alone or

in small groups.

You would thing about it but the High Elves do have a faith just like you and I... Yes the high elves do embrace the path of religion taken on the mantle of the Holy Light, sharing in the same faith as the dwarfs and the Humans. While this 

philosophy does not penetrate deeply into high elfin society, those who do follow the path of the Holy

Light are much more approachable than most other Elfin kin. Many also take on a druid-like philosophy

High Elves look-out houses that surround the main cities in the Forest 

regarding  the world and nature. The difference being the High/Blood Elves view magic as being an integral

part of the universe, as it was created by the Titans and is as natural nature itself. As they would say the 

Well of Eternity formed naturally on Azeroth and created the elves in the first place. It seems that they

believe in the alliance of devotion to a  pantheon of gods not a creator God..

The Styx

The Styx-[Naiad Nymph]
Well my dears friends & followers since you all liked the Nymphs posts quite a lot I thought I

Styx River Nymph/Goddess 

would do a few others that I found to be interesting..
Styx was another Naiad Nymph. She was the type of Naiad Nymph that would live in fountains, wells fountains,
Springs, Brooks and Yes! Rivers. The Styx Nymph was
the oldest daughter child of the Oceanus
Tethys, and Nyxs  - Other's might say she was the daughter of Erebus - Darkness. The Styx was the wife of
Pallas. And the two had 4children - Zelus, Nike, Cratos and Bia...She was also said to be a very Dark Goddess/Nymph + Powerful and Dangerous too.
Naiads were supposed to know the future and to foretell humans their destiny. The Styx was the of the Goddesses who represented the river  call the STYX, A crossroad between the land of the living and the land of the Dead. It is said that the Styx River Nymph/Goddess was the only female river.  Her river was the most Holy and sacred above all the others of the Gods/Goddess of the Greeks of the Olympians Gods at the time. And by its name STYX, Even the Gods took their most Solemn Oaths from this River. This was where the mortal met the world of the IMMORTAL GODS.
The Styx. Nymph was more of an dark Nymph and she was associated with very powerful dark stories too.
She was a playmate according to some of Persephone and the mother of Zelus, Zeal, Nike, Kratos and
Bia. The Styx Nymph was said to have her river outside of the Underworld by the Greeks, but
her water was still very deadly, dangerous and very powerful if ever one was to enter the river. Image
the rivers waters would be poisonous to all men and their cattle.. The river would even cut through iron.

The only one that knew how to use the water of the river correctly was Thetis and it was her that careful
drippings of Achilles' in the dark river that made him all but invincible.
Her story is rather sad that of being a River Nymph. First of all Her name meant literally Hateful.This of
course couldn't help her in the days of the Gods and Goddesses of the  Olympians... One reason why
her name Styx meant Hateful , because her river was the only one that all the dead must pass through
before they go to Hades - Some have said this in her time of the Olympians - That her river was also
the most holy and sacred of all the rivers and to swear on it or in it was the most holy oath a God could make, an honor given only by Zeus. Apparently she was a great ally for the might Zeus in the great wars with the Titans. And because of this, Styx was Honored Greatly by the Olympians. It is said that the Styx Nymph/Goddess held special powers and she could bestow the Gift of IMMORTALITY. It is also said that the Styx had the power to make someone invulnerable and some believe that the Great Achilles was Dipped into the river by his Mother. [His mother held him by his heel, the only part of his body not submerged. His
exposed heel from then onward became known as 'Achill's Heel']

Now if an oath was about to be sworn in, Iris was always sent for some of the rivers water to witness it,
and if the oath was broken, the God could neither breathe, to eat , not drink for a full year - tho the water was apparently fatal to mortals.
Now there was another story about the Nymph Styx of the River of the dead. It was about a young woman
by the name of Rhodope who had dedicated herself to Artemis which pissed off the sexually dangerous
Aphrodite who caused her to fall in love with a young hunter with whom she did the horizontal mambo in a
cave in the mountains. Well Artemis turned her into a spring called Styx that had the miraculous quality of
determining virginity - So if they were to stand in the water, which would  normally be up to their knees
and it came up to their neck - then they weren't virgins. Rather odd I thought myself....
As for the the Greek mythology of the river Styx, it is the main river from the underworld... And as I have said above the Greek Goddesses the Styx who is bothe the Goddess of this river Plus is an Nymph too. She was the oldest  daughter of the titans Oceanus and Thetys.  Her home basically is a palace at the entrance of Hades, which
had rocks on the roof and was supported by silver columns.

When the Styx was a young girl, she was one of the girls who was playing with Persephone when she was
gathering flowers just before she was then kidnapped by Hades.
Styx Children- She had four children with Pallas - Nike [Victory], Zelus [Zeal], Kratos[Strenght], and Bia[Force]. So this is where you the Styx is asked to help to the War with the Titans. What really happened is when Zeus summoned all the Gods to help him fight the Great Giant Titans - the Oceanus told his
Daughter Styx to Join Zeus in the War against the Titans. Thats whey she was the first to come to Zeus's aid together with all four of her children.

So as a reward in  helping them with the war against the Titians and winning, he allowed the Styx and
the Styx children to dwell in his home. To the Styx, Zeus had given her the greatest honour of being the one
on whose name the solemn oaths were taken. When ever a God or Goddess takes and oath, Goddess Iris is
sent to fetch the water from the river Styx, in a Golden Pitcher /cup and the god slowly pours out the water, while pronouncing the oath. [Iris Goddess might be another good post to do too eh!] Like I have meant above the Gods were very nervous about the River of Styx even the Great Zeus Himself. He Even had a tale
of his own to tell. This is way the Goddess / Nymph of the River was so feared by the Olympians Greek Gods, because oaths sworn on her name could not be taken lightly.

So what happened was this: Zeus sworn on the river Styx to grant Semele whatever she wanted, that's why,
when she asked hem to appear in all his glory , he had to do it. He showed her the smallest of his thunder
bolts and the smallest storm, but mortals can't see them without being incinerated and so Semele died.
So Zeus had tried to make her change her mind, but in the end he had to compy, because he was bond by the oath on the aters of the River of the Styx...
Zeus had a bad habit of sweaing on the water of the Styx, whenever he got into troble with Hera which was
a lottttttttt! because of all of his love affairs with Nymphs.. which happened quite often!
Helios, too swaorn on this river to satisfy his son's wish. Phaeton asked to drive his father chariot and
thats what lead to his death..You might wonder about the River Styx and it boundary between our world and the underworld? Thats why sometimes the name Styx was used instead of 'Hades'. It was a branch of the river Oceanus and its was said to circle the world.

It was said to be one of the five rivers of the Underworld - 5 Rivers - Acheron, Cocytus, Styx, Phlegethon and the Lethe.  Well there you have it. The Styx Nymph River Goddess ... She  I must say

was very different that any of the other Nymphs that I have done..
