Toadstools

Toadstools~
Two Fairy's on Red Agaric
Toadstools
Good afternoon my dear Friends & Followers I hope you find this new story interesting..
Its about Fairy Toadstools! I discovered this tale and thought you might all like the story. There are many stories and songs that are linked to the faeries with the Toadstools that are in the hill, valleys, and mountains too. Also there are many different kinds of toadstools that suddenly appear with rapid growth with their most unearthly colors & shapes too!
Sometimes these beauty's can even be luminous too. Many are often poisonous in Nature. There are even midnight mushrooms that only come out at the stroke of 12am the bewitching hour.  The Toadstools that are most often attracted to Faeries is the Red Fly Agaric [Amarita Muscovia]. This Toadstool is the beautiful Red top stool,  however these toadstools have highly poisonous hallucinogenic properties within these beauty's. It is said that the Vikings in ancient times would eat these magic Red mushrooms to gain their fighting frenzy known as 'Berserk'.
In Viking mythology there was an viking by the name of Woton. It was said that there were red flecks of foam falling from the mouth of his galloping six-limb steed, named Slepnir both magically transformed into Red Toadstools! Hence the Flying Agaric Toadstool was a gift from the Gods. Some Vikings would say! The Celts had a taboo on these Red toadstools and indeed on many red food like rowan berries, red nuts and even red fruits.
Some have even used the extracts from these Red Toadstools mushrooms [Fly Agaric] to
induce or to part take during the wild dance, have visions and even will talk to invisible
people; the faeries some say! It is said these Fly Agaric Toadstools were the gateway to

FAERIELAND! I HOPE THAT YOU ALL ENJOYED THE TALE OF THE RED TOAD STOOLS

AND THE FAERIES AND THE VIKINGS TOO

LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH MY DEARS. I  AM GOING TO INCLUDE

The Moving/Crying Virgin Mary

The Moving/Crying Virgin Mary
Virgin Mary that Crying blood
In this post I am going to tale you about the mysteries of the crying or bleeding Virgin Mary. I have always been very curious about the statue since I hear about the mysterious miracle of the statue that is made of sold cement. I have read stories about this amazing statue and even movies have been done about the Virgin Mary that bleeds that cries too. It is said that there are many Virgin Mary stature too, but there are not any such as the one of Ballinspittle that when it cries its tears is blood. Well I guess in 1985 it the special Irish statue of the Holy Virgin Mary showed some special abilities stronger that just its tears of blood. It started to move! The moving of the Virgin Mary Statue of Ballingspittle Ireland was first witnessed by a retired police sergeant who said he saw it begin to levitating in the grotto of the church where it stands. At first, the police sergeant didn't believe his own eyes. After all the statue is solid concrete. However after inspecting it the following day and realizing there was no chance of foul play, he became convinced that he had witnessed a miraculous event.
The Virgin Mary in the Co Cork area
In Ballinspittle Ireland.
Well the legend of what the police sergeant had seen started to spread across Ireland and others started to claim that they too had also seen the Virgin Mary move too. Of course, the
Phenomenon was and still is widely disputed. However, the people of Ireland truly believe what they saw. Scientists have written about the stature and that the divine abilities off as an optical illusion and even the Irish Catholic Church doubts the stories too.
Despite all these dis-believers with these amazing phenomenon or divine happenings, the folks that do believe stand by their claims. Some say they can still see the statue move sometimes. Nicola Tallant witnesses who were ridiculed for saying they saw the Ballinspittle's famed statue move 20years ago, are sticking to what they said. And even today they say it still moves for them.
This all happen worldwide in 1985 when crowds thronged to see the statue of the Virgin Mary in the Co Cork area. Even like I have said earlier a former police Sergeant was teased in his station just because he said he saw the stature float in mid-air of an height of an marvel that captivated Ireland. However, it seems that during their 20th anniversary of the Ballinspittle of
the tiny town the former sergeant said in a documentary that he was adamant that he witnessed a miracle. It seems on that summer day in July 1985 many people saw different things and experiences of amazing and Divine. Some saw something physically impossible at the grotto where the Virgin Mary is other saw something else. Could even be the crying of the bleeding eyes too? Sgt John Murray of the town said he saw the concrete statue of Our Lady floating in mid-air. Not rocking too and fro but floating! Sgt John Murray had to make sure what he saw so the following morning he went there to check out the statue to make sure no one was playing tricks on him. However he was amazed to find out that there was no wires or anything to make the statue move.  Cathy O'Mahony an Mother of nine, said she too suffered ridicule because of her visions but, she says she is confident of what she has seen with her own eyes and only had a vision three months ago. This was the other vision ' I was saying my prayers and the whole stature disappeared and I saw a big luminous figure of some sort. I got a fright but it faded away and came back. There is a Patricia Bowen who says she too sees the statue move to this day and claims to have seen the face of God at the grotto.  When this statue in Ireland started to move it prompted a religious fervour across Ireland and around the world! So the question I give to YOU!  Do you all believe?
I do myself I have always believe in the divine and unknown.
Well I hope You all Enjoyed the post of the Moving/Crying Virgin Mary
Love you all very much my dear Friends & Followers

PATTERSON ROAD

Patterson Road

IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, CULTURAL MEMORIES OF THE CIVIL WAR HAVE SPARKED NUMEROUS URBAN LEGENDS.
ONE OF THE CREEPIEST IS IN THE CENTER AROUND PATTERSON ROAD, LOCATED NEAR HIGHWAY SIX;  Claims, depending on whom you are talking too that the road is haunted. However, everyone agrees that the ghosts involved were Civil War soldiers. Why? Because, as we all know, every bit of land someone from that period walked across has become a ghostly hot spot for the spirits of the soldiers of the CIVIL WAR. Believers of the ghosts of the Patterson Road say that if you go into the Langham Creek Bridge on Patterson late at night and park your car with the lights off, you will hear tapping sounds or see a white mist that will surround your car. There are even more skeptical locals that will point out that parking your car with your lights off on a busy bridge is a good way to become a ghost yourself. The image that I have is one that I found that is what the folks have seen on the Patterson Road and the spirits of the soldiers of the Civil War. As you can see the white mist surrounds them and they very much look like they come from that period where so many souls were killed by South/North. I hope you find this small post interesting my dears friends and followers love you all very much

Spiders in Hairdo- UrbanLegends

Spiders in Hairdo-
UrbanLegends-
BEEHIVE STYLE
EVEN TOO DAY
2012-2015

For our Next Creepy Urban Legend, I found a nightmarist kinda one
for you ALL!  This one is called,
'SPIDERS IN THE HAIDO'.
This folktale was told originally in 1969 by a young woman in
Princeton, Indiana. The Urban Legend of the
'Spiders in the Hairdo'.
Since it was told originally in 1969, some say in the story started
in high school, since at the time the hair in the sixty for
teenage girls was to tease their hair. At the time, this style
looked nice on a lot of the girls, However, there were some girls
that carried the style to the extremes.
[note. I do remember watching my aunt teasing her hair when
in the late sixty when I was 9 and 10 years old and it look so cool!]
But These other gals that took it to the extremes had huge!
bouffant hairdos on top of their heads, plus they would use
hair -spray to the point that their hair wouldn't even move. Not even to
the smallest amount of breeze!
Some say at the time or the style, these girls that went to
the extreme of the hair-spray would put as much of
the hair-spray on their hair as they could.
This is where they got into trouble!
So it was said that one day they heard about an
teen girl who went to high school in Evansville who had just
died because of her teased hair.

After the girl had died the teachers tried to scared all the
girls to not tease their hair anymore or use hair-spay, However it didn't
work even with the death on the one girl, since style is style.
Well, more the the girls at Evansville high still teased their hair
however, the problem with the girl that had died was, she had one
of the most bushy teased hairstyles and from what what they all heard
she also kept lotsssss of Hair-spray in her hair. Also it was said she hadn't
washed her hair for over three months.
When she died she was just sitting in class and just keeled over. When
the teacher came over to check on her, she saw blood trickling down her face.
After she was taken to the hospital, they had found a nest
of black widow spiders had made a home in her hair and had started to
eat into her scalp and brain.

There are other legends from the same period from 1968-1969 that talk
about hairdos infested with
Cockroaches, Ants and even Maggots too.
It all comes form the legend/folklore of the 1950's beehive hairdos
Then later the drealocks that if not well care for will bring the
insects and maggots in some cases.
As i looked for images It was creepy me out!
and it seems that it is still a problem even today
I hope I have creep to many of you out
love you

DRYADES THE NYMPHS OF THE TREES~

DRYADS THE NYMPHS OF THE TREES-
The Beautiful Dryads Nymphs
of the Trees
Dryads were the beautiful Nymphs of the trees, groves, woods and mountain forests. They were the ladies of the Oaks, Pines, Ash, Apple and
Laurel Trees. For those known as the Hamadryades Nymphs
of the Trees, these nymphs sprung up from the earth at their birth, to which their lives were closely tied to the type of tree they were born too. While the tree flourished, so did its resident nymph, however, when the tree died so did the nymph within the tree. There were several classes of the Dryades that was associated with a particular type of tree in the ancient times of Greek and other cultures too.
The Meliai Nymph tree's
1-The Meliai were the Nymphs of the ash-trees. They would spring up from Gaea the Earth when she was impregnated by the blood of the Castrated privates of Ouranos. The men of the Silver Age would marry these Nymphet's - in the time before mortal women were created and from them all of mankind was descended, of course this is all a matter of opinion.
2-The Oreiades were the Nymphs of the Mountains conifers. The first of these were offspring of the five Daktyloi and the five Hekaterides.
Subsequently generations were descended from these elder Oreiades Nymphs of the mountains and their brothers the
Satyrs the brother of the Nymphs
Satyrs - These Mountain Nymphs that lived in the forest of the ancient Greece were primarily found high in the mountains nearest to the gods,
since the majority of the lowland forest had been cleared cut for farming at that time by the humans. It was therefore natural for the Greeks to think of the Dyades as Mountain-dwelling area's.

3- The Hamadryades were the Nymphs of the Oak Trees. These Nymphs Trees were usually were associated with the river-side trees and sacred groves too.
Nymphs in the Apple and Fruit trees
4- Then there were the Maliades, Meliades or Epimlides which were the Nymph's of the Apple and all the other fruit trees. They were also protectors of the sheep in ancient times too. The Greek word melas form which their name derives means both apple and sheep.
5- The Daphene's were the Nymphs of the Laure Trees, one of a class of an rarer tree-specific Nymphai. Others included the Nymphai Aigerioi(black poplar), Ampeloi(grape vine), Balanis-ilex Karyai(hazel-nut), Kraneiai(cherry-tree), Moreai(mulberry-tree),
Pteleal(elm-tree) finally the Sykei(the fig-tree). So another
way that the Dryades Nymphs were believe to be were
Nymph of the meadow
divinities of nature. The early
Greeks would see the Nymphs of the mountains, trees, springs, rivers, grottoes, oceans, fountains as some kinda manifestation of the divine deity of nature of life. Even though many times they were not visible to them they felt they were divine embodiments of nature.  However, many times these beautiful creatures would show themselves it just depended on who the mortal Greek men or women were. There was another part of the Nymphs of the Gods, the were also regarded as the salutary and had beneficent powers of nature. They were both divinities of nature, joy, delightful, and  could also be an terror to mortals if nature was not being take care of in the way they believe that should be divinely right.
Hamadruade of the Oak forest that will
give you quite a fright
They
say that the Nymphs of the forest, groves and glens were believed to sometimes appear to have fun in frightening solitary mortal travellers if they felt the forest has not been taken care of properly in their eyes. So one should never travel alone in the forest. And never go to deep in the forest either because you may never find your way out! Also the Nymphs of the Trees and even the Hamadruade of the Oak, will frighten many of mortal in the deep forest. The Nymphs of the fruit trees can sometimes move around will do the same.

So you must take care when you entire  the forest , some
of the Dryades Nymphs are friendly but others are
very protective of the forest.

It just depends where you
happened to be in the forest or mountains.
I hope that you Enjoyed the post on the
Dryades Nymphs of the Trees & Mountains
I love you all very much my dear
