US COASTAL CITIES & the RISES SEAS
COULD THREATEN MILLIONS-

In this post, I have been wanting to do this subject matter for quite some time. I will try to give you as much information that I can on this subject so that you will be in the coming years. As you know by looking at my blog, I have an clear subject going on with blog; One is the love and strong believe in the Fae, love of fantasy, mythology, urban legends, gardens, stories, poetry, faeries, dragons, hummingbirds, causes for children and animals and much more. However there is another side to me that I used to do when I was on network sites - Ning networks... And one of them was Climate and how it effects our planted. Since the world was so effected by weather the last couple of years I thought I would do a new group of posts on the problems that we are all are facing with Climate change. I hope you find this post interesting and helpful. I will do one or two a week, or when I find them. The first problem on American soil is the growing number of Americans that are making their new or old homes very near the idyllic beaches of the Florida Keys. I must say this area is beautiful, however it's also a very dangerous area too. Its only a matter of time when half of the state of Florida is under the ocean.  Sadly this is one of the first place that will be rushed with Hugh rogue waves that will cover have of the entire state of Florida. And beautiful Florida Keys will be gone! You see the combination of rising populations and rising seas could see millions of Americans living in homes that flood regularly during the next decades ahead, according to a nationwide analysis who wrote in the journal 'NaturFlooding' is already a routine during high tides and storms in parts of Florida.

The only way to protect the populations is by taking step now, and that is relocation of large populations or redirect the building in these high dangerous area's of the rising seas to come. Which isn't going to be easy because most don't believe that this is actually going to happen. The other huge problem that we need to address is the rising levels of the greenhouse effect of gas pollution that is continue warming the planet which is causing the seas to rise and the glaciers to melt. Scientists have combined their studies and research on the matter on local population trends with the conservation projections for the rising sea levels to conclude that the homes of 4million Americans would be inundated during high tides following 3 feet of seal level rise by the year 2100. I quote one ecologist at Stetson University as he says' Once you take into account growth of population, the numbers end up being two to three times more in terms of overall population that's going to be impacted than of you just look at current populations, who contributed to the study 'Florida really pops out'!
It would seem that the scientific researches have already done some preliminary steps in adapting to the rising seas in Monroe County & in some other vulnerable regions too. This places were studied for many things such as if a fossil fuel burning and deforestation continued at the current rates, they found it was leading to sea level rise of 6 feet by 2100. Sadly with these predictions, the researchers projected that the number of Americans living in homes that would be in the flooding areas would jump to 13million. Sadly most of those 13 million people that would be impacted by the rising seas;

California, New York and Louisiana alike would be home to about 1million people apiece whose homes could flood at high tide in 2100 if seas rise by 6 feet. Even though the results are speculative they are assume that developers well continue to build homes in the same manner on coastal hubs the way they currently do and at the current rates with the rising seas they also assume that the people will not make any changes and remain in the same area of the rising flood area's. Because no one truly believes it will happen. Another researcher at the nonprofit resource for the future said', 'People may now be living in areas that will be inundated in 50 or 100 years but we have time to react'. 'Sea level rise is not an immediate impact there is time to move and adapt.'
Nobody really know how our communities will be reshaped as the flooding continues to become more routine in the lowland area's. We just have to hope that the people will listen to the warning early as the projections are true - so that we can re locate millions of people before it happens.
In doing this post I did find that Florida is in the most danger of loosing huge percent of their populations. If the rising seas just goes to 3 feet they could loose about 4percet of the population of Florida and if its 6 feet well, that could be a disaster. The problem could affect nearly 2million residents of the county in 2100, even more that a third of the people who are expected to live there by the year too. As for the affect on Monroe County , which includes key west and other islands at the tip of Florida or any islands around the world that are sea level, they all would be hit the hardest. If the seas rise up to 6 feet+ by 2100 the researcher project that 83% of its residents world endure daily flooding. Some saw that half of Florida would be gone after all the flooding is done and no more island in around the oceans would survive. So we need to act now and help as many people as we can. Sadly when  I started doing this over 10+ years ago no one believed I hope now people will start because it is getting worst and it will happen. I just wish that people would have listen 10+ years ago when lots of folks were trying to tell people it was going to happen and it was slowly how lets just hope it isn't to late. love you Wendy...

WHITE STRING OF JAPAN URBAN LEGEND

Good evening my dears I thought I would try and catch-up for the month If I can or try to. For this post I know that some of you enjoy a good creepy urban legend and I know that there are quite a few in the Japanese legend. The White String is right up there with creepy. Its a short one but interesting too. Some say besides being a urban legend it is a true one however that one I will leave for you all to decided for yourselves.
The White String is a strange urban legend from Japan that I found on my favorite site for Japanese folklore/urban legends. The story is about ear pierces. Which is odd because I had my ears pierced when I was 16years old in the mall and my little sister did at was 14 and were both just fine. Well one with the tall. It was very popular in the 80's to get your ears pierced as I do remember that too. At the time in the 80's when the popular time of getting your ears pierced was going on this urban legend stopped quite a few young japan kids for fear that the urban legend would happen to them! Many were very afraid that the urban legend would truly happen compared to some of the others so many didn't get their ears pierced during that time of the 80's.
Well this is the tale of what happen to one girl in japan that did get her ears pierced and why so many believe the urban legend of the White String.
ONE DAY THERE WAS A YOUNG GIRL THAT WAS DESPERATELY WANTED TO HAVE HER EARS PIERCED. SHE LIVED IN JAPAN WITH HER PARENTS AND THEY SAID SHE WAS FAR TO YOUNG AND NEED TO WAIT A FEW YEARS. HOWEVER THE YOUNG GIRL PLEADED WITH HER PARENTS, SAYING THAT ALL HER CLASSMATES WERE GETTING IT DONE AT THIS AGE PLEASE!PLEASE! SHE WOULD SAY! WELL, EVENTUALLY HER PARENTS LET HER DO IT AND GAVE HER SOME MONEY, THEY TOLD HER TO GO TO THE LOCAL MALL TO GET IT DONE IN A LOCAL JEWRY STORE THEN GET PIERCED EARRINGS. THEY FELT AT LEAST SHE WOULD BE SAFE IN THE JEWRY STORE MALL. OR AT LEAST THEY THOUGHT.

THINGS DON'T ALWAYS GO AS A PARENT WOULD HOPE THE YOUNG GIRL DECIDED TO KEEP THE MONEY FOR HERSELF AND TO THE PIERCING HERSELF. THE YOUNG GIRL GOT HER BEST FRIEND TO HELP HER DO IT JUST IN CASE IT WAS HARDER THAN SHE THOUGHT. FIRST THEY HEATED UP A VERY LARGE NEEDLE TO MAKE SURE NO INFECTION AND THEN STUCK IT IN BOTH OF THEIR EARLOBES. OF COURSE IT WAS VERY PAINFUL FOR BOTH OF THE GIRLS. BUT IN THE END BOTH HERE FRIEND AND HERSELF HAD PIERCED EARS AND COULD WARE THE FANCY EARRINGS THAT THEY WANTED TOO. SO FAR EVERYTHING WAS GOING FINE AND NO SCARY CURSE OR LEGEND HAD HAPPEN TO THE GIRLS FOR DAYS. BUT ALL GOOD THINGS WHEN YOU ARE MESSING WITH A URBAN LEGEND MUST COME TO AN END. SO IT HAPPENED A FEW DAYS LATER , WHILE THE GIRL WAS IN SCHOOL SHE WAS BEGINNING TO GET A LOT OF PAIN IN HER LEFT EAR WHERE SHE HAD PIERCED HER EAR. THE LEFT EARLOBE BEGAN TO GET VERY ITCHY AND PAINFUL TOO. DURING A BREAK AT SCHOOL SHE DECIDED TO HAVE A LOOK AND WENT TO THE BATHROOM TO LOOK AT HER EARLOBE., ONLY TO DISCOVER IT HAD GOTTEN EVEN WORST. HER EAR WAS BRIGHT RED AND INFLAME AND VERY ITCHY TOO! THE YOUNG GIRL BEGAN TO SCRATCH AT IT ALOT. STILL IN THE SCHOOL BATHROOM SHE NOTICED SOMETHING ODD, WHEN THE YOUNG GIRL HAD A CLOSER LOOK AT HER EAR, IT LOOKED LIKE THE END OF A PIECE OF WHITE STRING, WAS COMING OUT OF HER EARLOBE. THE YOUNG GIRL THOUGHT THIS TO BE VERY STRANGE & IT SHOULD BE THERE SO, SHE STARTED TO PULL AND PICK AT THE LONG WHITE STRING THAT WAS COMING FROM HER EARLOBE IN HOPE THAT IT WOULD STOP THE PAINFUL ITCH TOO. AFTER A FEW MINUTES THERE WAS A VERY LONG PIECE OF WHITE STRING HANGING OUT OF HER PIERCED EARLOBES, AS SHE LOOKED AT IT THERE DIDN'T SEEM TO BE ANY END TO IT. IT JUST WENT ON AND ON AND ON! SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! BUT SHE DIDN'T THING IT WAS ANYTHING IMPORTANT, SO SHE GOT A PART OF SCISSORS & CUT THE LONG WHITE STRING THAT WAS HANGING OUT OF HER EARLOBE THAT DIDN'T SEEM TO HAVE ANY END TO IT. AS SOON AS SHE CUT THE WHITE STRING EVERYTHING WENT BLACK & SHE COULDN'T SEE A THING! RUNNING OUT OF THE BATHROOM TO GET HELP SHE WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND THE LOCAL DOCTOR EXAMINED HER. FINALLY THE DOCTOR WAS ABLE TO TELL THE YOUNG GIRL WHAT HAD HAPPEN TO HER AND SHE ALMOST WENT INTO SHOCK. YOU SEE, THE DOCTOR AT THE HOSPITAL SAID TO THE GIRL THAT SHE WILL BE BLIND FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE! THE REST FOR THIS IS; THE REASON FOR THIS IS THE WHITE STRING THAT YOU WERE PULLING ON THAT WAS IN YOUR EARLOBE AND THEN NOTICE THAT IT WAS VERY LONG WITH NO ENDING WAS YOUR OPTIC NERVE. I DON'T KNOW WAY IT WAS COMING FROM YOU EAR BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE COME HERE TO HOSPITAL BEFORE YOU START CUTTING THINGS....

SEA DRAGON

Sea Dragon~

To continue my 'Love for the Dragon', I thought I would tell another tale about my favorite
Subject 'Dragons'. One of the most elusive of the Dragons is the Gigantic Sea Serpent, over the many centuries there have been thousands of sighting all over the world. Also, there has been extensive surveys of the deepest ocean beds, and deepest lakes that seem to have no bottom to them. There has been the latest submarine technology that allows, marine biologist to take many photos in the deep ocean beds and deep lakes that seem to have no ends to them. In these photos they have images of what seem to be the lost Dragon Serpent. However, with all this there still are many people that still don't believe because they have to have evidence to prove of the existence of them. The problem with this is; that people forget just because there isn't evidence doesn't mean dragons, faeries, elves and magick creatures aren't Here! They choose to be Unseen to those that don't believe. I myself have believed in them most of my life. And now in my adult life completely do! I believe that they are all over the world hidden and only come out when there is no moon in the darkest of places.

There are many amazing writings on many different dragons, but sadly they are all concerned unverifiable. Here are a few facts that I was able to find that you all might find interesting;
It was in the 16th century, when an Archbishop of Uppsala in Sweden, by the name of 'Olaus Magnus had seen what he says was described in his mind to be an 'SEA DRAGON'. Olaus Magunus said, that the Sea Dragon that he saw was over two hundred feet long & twenty feet around including around its neck; 'He hath commonly hair hanging from his neck a cubit long and sharp scales & is black and hath flaming shining eyes. This snake disquiets the snippers and he puts his head on high like a pillar and catchth away men and devours them.' Apparently the Archbishop 'Olaus Magunus had not seen the Sea Dragon himself, however he was told this tale by an reliable source of the Church.
Even so, they are people that sever God! So they in my opinion would not tell a lie!
In the eighteenth century there was another sighting of an Sea Dragon. This one was recorded by an eyewitness statement from an missionary Hans Egede. He happened to be on his way from Norway to Greenland. The Missionary Hans Egede said in the recorded statement what he had seen, was an enormous Sea Dragon on his way from Norway to Greenland. It was near a massive Ship. The head of the Dragon reached as high as the master sails. The body was bulky as the ship, at least 4to5 times as longer! It had a long pointed snout that kinda looked like a whalefish with huge broad paws. His entire body was covered with what looked like shimmering colorful shells wrote the missionary Hans. Its skin was colorful, rugged and uneven. If you're lucky to see the underside of the beast its shaped like an massive serpent like snake so when it dives into the ocean it can move very easily through the waves. Also, Hans could see the Sea Dragon plunge backward into the Sea raising its massive tail a loft, which seemed to be the entire length of the ship. And it could very much be used as a weapon too.

In August of 1746 there was another sighting in Norway. (It would seem that in the days up in

Norway in Greenland the Dragons weren't afraid to come out at a time. Now we have to many technical weapons that can harm them and that is my option why they don't come out and hide whether they are the very dangerous dark dragons like these or and there are the kindly dragons too! This sighting was by Bishop of Bergen. The Bishop remembered the accounts of an Norwegian Ship Captain, who saw, the harpooning of an Sea Dragon in 1746. Sadly the creature sank into the ocean before the Captain & his crew could haul the Sea Dragon abroad their ship. Apparently the Captain had come to the Bishop to confess his sins on what he had don and seen. And the Bishop of Bergen shared the Accounts of what the Norwegian Captain saw with his other men of the cloth.
This is the tale of what the Norwegian Captains told the Bishop of Bergen;
The Captain said that the Sea Dragons Head stuck out at least 2-3 feet above the surface of the water. It also resembled that of a horse. It was massive in size, having a huge black eyes, and teeth. The body of the Sea Dragon was a greyish-white with an long white mane, which hung down into the ocean. Beside the huge head & long neck he saw seven or eight coils of this snake like dragon which were very thick.
The next sighting of an Sea dragon could possibly be the most reliable of all with the most reliable witness statement too! It comes from the Captain of H.M.S. Daedalus. It was in his ship writing log after returning to Plymouth from the East Indies. You may ask, Why? is this the most reliable witness of all the Sea Dragon sightings...Well, its probably because the Captain of H.M.S Daedalus had staked his reputation on what he saw before the Lords of the Admiralty on its veracity. The Captain Career would have been ruined if he was found to be lying about what he saw and wrote in his captain log. Sadly I couldn't find any more info to this tale and what happened to him. I decided to dig a bit and I found what I think is the Captain, you will have to make that opinion for your self. but I have found some info for you... I will also leave you a link too.
Well, my dears I had to look a bit on the web and put the name Daedalus in many different ways but I think I found it. however you can make you own opinion on this part to the tale of this post.

The Tale seems to have real roots & real events too. The Captain H.M.S Daedalus was a real ship. It was built in the year 1820 called a Leda-class frigate and then later was rated to the corvette. The HMS Daedalus was best known in Victorian Britain for the sighting of the serpent between Cape of Good Hope and St Helena in the year of 1848. Which was over 165 years ago. It would seem that it truly did happen to the Captain of the Daedalus and his crew of witness I enormous Sea Serpent based on those in the contemporary report from the officers of the frigate and the Captains log. However what exactly they all saw that day in the cold Atlantic on that August day will remains a mystery to this day. Only the few writings and the beautiful Illustrated drawings is what we have to maybe what this men saw that frightful late afternoon. During this post I will share the Illustrations that I have found from the London News coverage of the Daedalus sea serpent in October of 1848. Apparently back in the day of 1848 the sighting that the crew of the ship sparked quite a considerable interest back in the UK and the London Illustrators News people and other newspapers did quite a find job at the drawing they interpreted of the sea serpent sightings by the crew HMS Daedalus on August 6, 1848. There was one reporter that said' That it is quite amazing that such a creature, however, there can be little doubt, to it truth said Gleason's Pictorial Drawing Room Companion reported, as his appearance has been so often alluded to. One of the best descriptions and on the very best authority, is that which we have seen the report of an

English officer to the war department of his own country. When the Daedalus frigate, Captain M

'Quhae, which arrived at London, not long since, was on her passage home from the East Indies, between the Cape of Good Hope and St Helena, her report continues as so; The size well, its head appeared to be about four feet  out of the water, and there was about sixty feet of body in a straight line on the surface of the water. The Dragon was very calculated that it must have been under water partly at a length of thirty to forty feet or more, by which it propelled itself at the rate of fifteen miles an hour on the surface. The diameter of the exposed part of the Dragons body was about sixteen inches & when it extended its jaws, which were full of very large jagged teeth, which seemed to sufficiently capacious to admit of a overly tall man of 8 feet tall. standing upright between them. The diameter of the exposed part of the body was about sixteen inches and when it extended its jaws, which were full of enormous jagged teeth, they seemed sufficiently capacious to admit of a ordinary man or even a very tall man standing upright between those teeth.'

The journal of the London Newspaper quoted Captain M' Quhae's from the Daedalus ship log  directly...(note I found the name of the Captains name Lola!) 
'It passed rapidly, but so close under our lee quarter that had it been a man of my acquaintance I should have easily recognized the features with the naked eye... It had no fins, but something like the man of a horse, or rather a bunch of seaweed washed about its back,' M' Quhae described the creature head as like 'th'
It is said that the sighting of the Sea Dragon by the crew and their Captain M'Quhae is a remarkably and amazing thing for with all the written ship logs and eye witness that they had they were able to make the beautiful contemporary artist impression showing how close the sea serpent was said to have passed their ship. Also it was not unique of sorts because in fact the following year another similar sighting was reported by the sloop HMS Plumper in the Atlantic off the coast of Portugal. 'An officer had described what he saw as 'a long black creature with a sharp head, moving slowly, I should think about two knots... Its back was about twenty feet if not more above the water; and its head, as near as I could judge to be six to eight feet long ... There was something on its back that appeared to be like that of a mane. and as it moved through the water, it kept washing about; but before I could examine it more closely it was too far astern' at of a snake'. captain and most of her officers and crew at four o'clock on afternoon saw a sea serpent. 'THE SEA SERPENT SIGHTED

Well, my dears that was the sighting of the HMS Daedalus of 1820 and the extra info. the link is at the bottom of the post. I have one more or they saw there have been many over the course of the years as we get closer to the 21century. In 1930 by a lieutenant Commander Rupert T. Gould - Another in 1968 by Bernerd Heuvelmans too. Even in the 20th century there have been a few sighting too. However, the problem now is, 'The age of techs. Without material evidence the majority of humanity just won't believe. Dragons have always been here before the being of time. Even before the dinosaurs yet humans still don't believe. I believe that they are still hear. And you don't have to have evidence to believe. Well, I hope you enjoyed my Sea Dragon post love you all

Fairies like to be clandestine, so what better way of moving around, bustling human markets and towns 
than to be invisible? Invisibly is one reason why the little people are so so feared by mankind: one never knows where they are and what they might over-hear, which is why it is important to use euphemisms when speaking of them. All you might know of their presence is a jinging of invisible bridles, a rustle of duchess satin, a scent, or the notes of an unsettling air on the wind. The only evidence of a fairy visit might be the loss of a favorite drinking vessel, disturbed sheets, or a space in the cradle.
Fairies are skilled at camouflage, and by their attire and movements are able to disguise themselves as lichen, a sapling, a butterfly, or fish,   Sometimes a fairy might be visible to one protagonist in a story often to a child , but invisible to companions. A cloak or cap is often  the source of invisibity, or hints at other supernatural powers the foxglove bonnets pay homage to a powerful herbal remedy, and the antlers worn by the Manitou nod at the ceremonial magic of the Algonquin people. The Grimm brothers say that we don't' usually see dwarves - not because they live below ground, but because when abroad they generally sport protective invisible - making "fog hat". The Irish Merrow don a small red-feathered cap that proffers an ability to live beneath the waves. Removing the magical cap on land is a perilous act, since, without it, like the skinned Selkie, the Merrow cannot return home. In this way they may fall prey to men and become the slave of a human master, who  might demand wishes or even marriage.  In Italy, the Folletti are equally sought for their  caps, which if caught  by a human bring  a reward of gold.

Enchanted Forest

Enchanted Forest For you, please don't feel blue! Let us dance!


Please do not dishearten. Let us dance in the land of fantasy,

Where the land sparkles of fairy dust and fairy love.

Enchantment, and by the fairy magic that is everywhere in the air

Like tiny lanterns flitting all over in the enchanted forest do they come;

To give blessings of happiness and love to all from the purest of faerie-ness.

Let us reach out to distant lands and touch our distant fairy friends with ethereal hands!
And joyous shall we be when we come to know who we truly are within ourselves.
And to remember how far we have come and never again to be separated from the angels,

faeries and other accompanying ethereal beings and denizens of the Enchanted Forest.
They are with us always whether we see them or not.

You need only quiet the mind and listen for the tiny voices within. - Hear them speak.

Happiness and joy through the lands; So shall we feel within our hearts and hands,

with love shall we rejoice, we shall stand forever with our friends in the Enchanted

Forest, never again shall we have the need to leave.

THE NEKO NO KAI CAT

 Neko No Kai Cat-

The Tale of the Neko No Kai Cat-Good Afternoon my dear friends, followers, supporters and readers too! I found one more tale for you all today. The Neko No Kai Cat or its also called the black spotted two-tailed cat. The tale is linked around the Motoyoshi family farmhouse. The son of the family, whose name was Genjiro was fond of cats & decided to take the cat, he found in the family farm and care for it. Genjiro was a healthy boy, but since he started taking care of the cat, he started looking sickly & getting quite emaciated and weak too!  The boy didn't have any particular illness that his parents could see & the doctors  couldn't explain the slowing decline on their once healthy young boy. As time went on & Genjiro got worse, his parents blamed his condition on the cat his found and was caring for.

For one thing, they noticed about the cat-it would be curled up in their son Genjiro's bedclothes everyday, the same clothes that Genjiro slept in. They thought without a doubt, he was catching some sort of infection or even an allergy from the cat. So like any good parents they tried many ways to get rid of the Cat... Fearing for the health for their son Genjiro. These were; throwing the cat out the door every evening, carry the cat to different towns to abandon it, however the cat would always manage to find its way back to their home and to their son. After a time the cat stayed away from everyone but Genjiro. The parents could no longer even get close to the cat. All awhile their son Genjiro's condition would get worse and worse and his parents insisted that Genjiro get rid of the cat because of his health. One time Genjiro mother had him take up the cat and she followed them as they walked to a distant town, going so far that the cat could never find its way back or at least she thought so. Well, her plan backfired on her because when they made it as far as Koshinzuka, Genjiro's mother had lost sight of both her son and the Cat! She looked around, but couldn't see or find her son anywhere. So with nothing else to do she recruited some of the local children in the town of Koshinzuka to help her search, but sadly it was fruitless. There was no sign of her son Genjiro & his mother was forced to return home alone. A few days later it seems that a dog was seen carrying a human arm in its mouth, in the vicinity of Saidaiji temple. The arm had scraps of a torn kimono hanging off of it & these kimono scraps were taken to Genjiro's mother for her to see. (To identify if it was her son) Sadly, she did confirm that they were Genjiro's, the same kimono he had been wearing the day of his disappearance. The official finding was that the Cat must have attacked and killed Genjiro and then devoured most of the boy's body. Given the strange nature of the Cat, no one was really surprised. Well, I have done a few Japaneses legends of Mystery Cat Tales and most of them aren't too kindly. This one is probably around the 17th century. I had a few other images of the Cat but they aren't as pleasant. I found this on a Japaneses site for which I will leave the link on the bottom for you. I hope you all enjoyed the post. Marcaou Cat-

Good afternoon my dearest friends, followers, supporters, and readers. I found another interesting magical Creature Cat but this one is from France. They are French fairy cats which are called 'Marcaou Cats'. These Marcaou Cats are born to fairies that would poison unlucky humans. The Marcaou Cat would wait by the dying humans bed to guide their spirits go to the underworld. The fairy queens themselves gave birth to these Margotines, Cats; beautiful white courtier cats that could shape-shift into attractive young women and bewitch unsuspecting men as they slept. SITH CAT

SITH CAT OF THE HIGHLANDS-

Hello my Dearest, friends, Followers, Supporters and Readers of my humble blog. I found a new fun magick creature called the  Sith Cat from the Gaelic Legend of Scotland.

 It's basically a monstrous cat of Scotland Folklore. It would seem that the people of Scotland

Highland did not trust the Sith Cat. They believed that it could steal a person's 

Soul before it was claimed by the Gods by passing over a corpse 

Before they were able to complete the burial; Therefore, watchers called the 

'Fall Fadalach' were performed night & day 

To keep the Sith Cat away from the 

Corpse before burial. Methods of 

'Distraction'  would be such games as leaping & Wrestling, Catnip, riddles, & music would be Employed to

Keep the Sith Cat away from the room in 

Which the corpse is at rest. In addition, there were  No fires where the body lay, as it was legend that the Sith Cat was attracted to the warmth of the fire. On the Samhain, which is a Gaelic festival marking the ending of the harvest season and the 

Beginning of winter, it was believed that the Sith Cat would bless any house that left a saucer Of milk out for it to drink, but those houses that did not

Let out a saucer of milk would be cursed into having all of their cow's milk dry.

In some common folklore, it is also suggested that the Sith Cat are not Faeries 

But, witches that can transform into a cat. 

There are differences in the details in these tales regarding the 

Transformations of the Sith Cat into a witch. Some say that these witches are 

Limited to transforming into a cat nine times while others say the witch will be trapped 

In which ever form she takes in her ninth transformation. 

The Gaelic Silt Cat is described an enormous black BEAST! It's about the size of a very large dog with a white mark on its chest. It has shaggy rough fur like bristles instead of of soft fur of a normal cat. The SITH CAT, also has a menacingly arched back. The Highlanders of Scotland firmly believe  that this evil creature was the metamorphosed of a black magick witch! 

Well, that is the legend of the Sith Cat of the Highlands of Scotland.

Neiman Marcus Cookies-Recipe

Good morning my dearest Followers, Friends, & Readers. HAPPY FOOLS DAY! 
Well, for todays post I thought I would do an Urban Legend that is actually True! I'm not really good with pranks, so I hope that you all enjoy the tale. This one is actually True. It's called 'Neiman Marcus Cookies' and I found it in my book called 'The Colossal Book of Legends. From what the woman had said, in just the first couple of lines, I just had to tell her story.
This is the story;
'My daughter & I had just finished a salad at Neiman Marcus Cookies Cafe in Dallas & decided to have a small dessert. Because both of us are such cookie lovers. We decide to try the 'Neiman Marcus Cookie." It was so excellent that I asked if they would give me the recipe & the waitress said with a small frown, "I'm afraid not'. Well, would you let me buy the recipe? With a cute smile, the waitress said, yes. I asked how much? The waitress responded, "only two fifty'. I said great deal & just added it to my tab. Well, thirty days later, she received her visa statement from Neiman Marcus and her bill was $285.00. She had to look at the bill twice, then remembered that she had only spent 9.95$ for two salads and about $20.00 for a scarf. She glanced at the bottom of the statement and it said, "COOKIE RECIPE $250.00.
She said that was outrageous!
She called Neiman's accounting Dept and told them the waitress said 'two-fifty dollars to her'.
She asked if there was anyone there possible to interpret the phrase 'only two fifty?' Sadly Neiman Marcus refused to budge on the matter. They would not refund her money, because according to them, 'What the waitress told her is not our problem. You have already seen the recipe so we absolutely will not refund your money at this point.
She said, Okay, You folks got my $250. Now I'm going to have fun. She told the Neimans Accounting Dept, she was going to see to it that every cookie lover in the United States with an email account has a $250 Cookie Recipe from Neiman-Marcus for FREE! 
NOTE AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS TRUE URBAN LEGEN SHE SAID- 'THIS IS TRUE -PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ AND PLEASE SEND THIS TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON YOU KNOW!
It seems that they replied, 'I wished you wouldn't do this! However, the woman that Neiman Marcus wouldn't refund the $250.00 relied Well, you should have thought of that before! 
So there it is & and here is the Recipe to that could be halved-
Neiman Marcus cookies Recipe-
2-cups butter
4-cups flour
2-tsp. Soda (club soda)
2-cups sugar
5-cups blended oatmeal...
24-oz. Chocolate chips
3-cups chopped nuts (your choice)
2-cups brown sugar
1-tsp salt
1-8 oz Hershey Bar graded
4-eggs
2-tsp baking powder
2-tsp van.
Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder. Then cream the butter and both sugars. Add 4 eggs and Vanilla. Then mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into small balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10min at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies

GIANT SKRYMIR

Giant Skrymir~

Good afternoon, my dears & Welcome to my humble blog of creatures of the unseen! In this tale we are going to Scandinavia. The Norse mythology of the Scandinavia Giant of Skrymir. He is also known as an immense Frost Giant too. The tale of the Skrymir Frost Giant is thousands of years old & how it all began is on a cool night when the Gods, Thor, Loki & Thjalfi were traveling together through the woods. However, the Gods have made a few mistakes now & then. This happened to be one of those times. One of the Norse brothers of the Titans in Scandinavia. What happened is this; When the three Gods went looking for a place to sleep while in the high mountains, they mistook the Skrymir Giant's gloves as a cave. In my opinion, this is rather hard to believe that 3 Gods would make that kind mistake, but this is a very old story too. So on with the tale, it would seem that all three Gods lay down to sleep on the thumb part in one of the Giant Skrymir Gloves. In the morning Thor, Loki & Thjalfi were rudely awaken by the snoring of the Frost Giant Skrymir, who had snored so loud it shook the ground & forest that was all around them. To the Gods it felt like a huge earthquake. Thor attempted to stop the snoring by using his hammer on the skull of the giant, but he didn't even wake-up, he simply rolled over after brushing what he thought was a leaf on his head. The Skrymir Giant would in fact do this to protect himself during his slumbers  by placing an invisible mountain over his head, which of course is resisted to anything that might try to harm him.
